i looked all through the config and couldnt find an option, also could not locate an .ini to try in there. anyone know how, or if this is possible? (i really hate shadows, in games.)

your ini files are located in C:\\Users\\your account\\Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\Settings

I've not noticed an option to do what you ask but I've not looked too hard.

the only way i know to disable shadows is to scale down to low settings, its quite annoying, as losing shadows alone would be sufficient to keep the settings at max for me.

Well I have the same problem. I don´t have a high tech computer but has the necessary power to run this game with good fps. But in order to achive that I need to disable the shadows. But there is no option for the shadows itself.

Bioware please fix this

BioWare should really allow us more control over our own graphics settings. It's pretty stupid that the only options are "low" "medium" or "high". What the **** does that even mean? Add a "Custom" damn it!

And in the end... Is conclusion of this problem exists?) Oh maybe only one: drink the poison and curse BioWare))))
