wait. are you saying the Welsh can speak? Does anyone listen to what they say?

I never knew all dwarves in the mythical realms hailed from Scotland. Please dont stereotype us so! I like the idea of a German, Romanian, or mix (Polish?).

Yea no accents there...   Really now.. you left out the Canadian frogs those Kanucks would have been more original...

Best for me was THE WITCHER dwarf dialogues.

I prefer these dwarves to LOTR dwarfs.

Old Norse is piece o cake or as we say it smávægilegr kökubiti.

However someone might make the old norse sound like modern swedish... that wouldn't be cool.. unless maybe for Zevran... "yogh hewf tu keell yu"

But I also think it might make sense to make use of more variety of accents, like making the different cultures sound differently. like making the dalish speak indian english while the city elves speak cockney (which would require good subtitles)...

actaully I take objection to steve blum doing 'that voice' for 'that dwarf in dennerim' whom I shall call 'spike' cause I honestly can't remember his name. 'that voice' is to iconic to be used for a simple merchant and it throws me off when ever I walk past spike in the markets.

well, thanks for trying something differnt, but it didn't work all that well in my opinion. iconic voices should be used in an iconic fasion, not shoved into a corner. people are gonna see it anyway, put it where its gonna do the most good.

And if that isnt the definition of nit-picking...

A lot of dwarfs sound like steve blum. That's just the way they sound in this universe. I enjoy it. Probably cause I always hated dwarfs before I played this game.
