I accidently deleted my finished ME2 campaign (messed around with several replays so had multiple samenamed folders). I could restore the save games but putting them back into the Save folder crashes the game.
Any idea how you can restore a deleted career of a ME2 game?
It's not that big a disaster but kind of a shame as I had plenty of saves to branch out decisions from specific points in the game.

You've tried starting a new game, saving, quitting and then replacing the new .pcsav files with those you recovered?
It may just be some of the ,pcsav files that are corrupt, also. If placing all of them in the new career folder is causing crashes, try one at a time. Check their file sizes for odd discrepancies.
Try opening and re-saving the ones you really want recovered, in Gibbed's Save Editor?
