Re: animal/alien parts - I remember seeing the talon ref in the CCN, so I didn't mind that ref so much. Now that we've also heard they have gizzards... which makes me wonder... like actual ones, so he has to eat rocks to digest? How does that work? Imagine giving him a gift, and it's like shiny rocks to grind his dinner with, er something. Or that's like an appetizer at a turian restaurant he and Shep go to. HILARITY ENSUES. XD
Not necessarily. According to the Infinite Source of Wisdom that is Wikipedia (*sarcasm*), some gizzards (in molluscs and insects) have chitin plates inside that grind up the food. Bird gizzards do require pebbles though.
