Before you guys go and look at our content, this is what our very own KFD had to say about why we write all the time in this thread. Put into words that few can express.

The_KFD_Case wrote...
Hi Wulf!
There's been a truck load of good conversations, philosophizing, screen shots, poetry, humor, good natured camarderie and admiration/love for Tali's persona. It just came to me in a flash a moment before typing this post.

We often speak of Tali and our fan enthusiasm towards her as though it were a sect; the truth may not be too far off that description. Stated in short, concise terms: We've become a movement. Each day the self-declared "Talimancers" return, many of us familiar faces and some new. Our exuberance and devotion to this place does not appear to be dimming as the days go by - quite the contrary. And it is not because of this place.

No, it's because of what has been unleashed by the creation of Tali'Zorah vas Normandy as a character. I trust we are all painfully aware that she is not a living, breathing entity as we have come to understand such. She has become an ideal; her spirit as awakened something that has lain dormant deep inside many of us - each of us either secretly aware that we craved something or perhaps going through our daily routines unsure how to place our fingertips on it yet instinctively aware that something is missing. Each of us share this yearning to one degree or another and it is a shared commonality that forges these bonds between us that have been strengthened over the past few days. We are kindred spirits irrespective of our age, our experience, our country of birth or native tongue, we are alike because we have been awakened inside.

We've had one of those rare opportunities that some people can search for for a lifetime to glimpse at our inner workings, compare it to the world around us and reached the conclusion that regardless of our station in life it can be even better. That we as individuals and as a collective group can be better- that we are already becoming better thanks to the resonating ,complimentary effect we are creating amongst ourselves. It may sound melodramatic yet I believe with an earnest heart and a clear mind that the adoration and love the character of Tali'Zorah enjoys is a testament to the recognition by many here that there is a love that can burn so brightly within the recesses of our souls that no darkness, no matter how grave, can extinguish.

We, the so-called "Talimancers" - a term that may have started out as a half jest, have become a movement because we see clearly, perhaps for the first time in a while, that there are better and greater things in our brief existence than purely material and selfish pursuits. That the values represented in Tali'Zorah vas Normandy need not only apply to her but can apply to us and those around us. That we can find such a love-selfless, honesty, compassionate, modest, pure, brave and strong - and that it is something worth striving for. It is for these reasons that we have each come to love Tali'Zorah in our own individual way, and it is for those reasons that she, the character of Tali'Zorah vas Normandy, has become a rallying cry, a symbol.......And now I'm done.

---
But no...no he was not...

The_KFD_Case wrote....
I could rattle of a non-comprehensive list of traits that Tali'Zorah vas Normandy possesses (intelligence, sweet, shy, earnest, quirky, passionate, courageous, strong yet gentle, reasonable, a voice that makes grown men weak at the knees, a touch of mystery, etc.)
which are immensely appealing to many. Yet perhaps it is more succinctly summed up by stating that she represents a figure that many of us yearn so deeply, even desperately, for; like a drowning sailor at sea clings to flotsam to keep his head above the encroaching cold water, so too are people here desperate- yet-hopeful that perhaps maybe, just maybe, someday they may count themselves fortunate enough to encounter a real-live woman who encapsulates if not all of these traits, then at very least some of them.

In short: Tali has become a symbol of attainable perfection. It is a powerful thing for it speaks to a yearning inside many of us and we feel its call. The character of Tali'Zorah has reached out and captured our hearts and our imagination and we want more. Much more.

*OPENING SCENE OF MASS EFFECT 3*

Turian Councilor: "Ah yes..."

Shepard: "Don't say it, I will skull f*ck you if you say it. As you can see by my choice in women, I don't give a damn about chirality."

Tali: "I can't believe that worked."

What can I post in this thread?
*Anything to do with Tali of course! Fanfics, Fanart, tributes--anything!
* What's the purpose? We're hoping our voices will be heard--BioWare must know their fans here to love and adore Tali.
* What can we talk about? Again, any Tali speculation, or anything about Tali in general, as well as how we think she might appear in ME3. Want to make a difference? Be sure to change your signature to "I support Tali for Mass Effect !" Also, be sure to include a link to this thread! Spread the glory around! Only YOU can put Tali in Mass Effect 3! Keep this thread alive, people! If it dies, so does TALI!

--------------------------------------------------------------------
In my honest opinion, Mass Effect would not be the same without Tali. No I am not exaggerating. Tali is amazing, and I am proud to call myself a fanboy damn it. She MUST be in Mass Effect 3. Unless she dies, and you import that is. If she lives, she MUST remain a squad member, and if you romanced her she MUST remained romanced in ME3. Wouldn't that be amazing, stepping into ME3 with an already romanced Tali, and having a full on romance experience throughout the ENTIRE game and not just before the last mission?

C'mon, guys! We need Tali!

I highly doubt anyone will do what I am suggesting, but if you are a true Tali fan, like myself, then please, change your signature to "I
support Tali for Mass Effect 3!"

Supporting Evidence that Tali could likely remain a squad member: Tali's name is changed from Tali'Zorah vas Neema to Tali'Zorah vas Normandy, meaning she's basically tied to he ship. I'm assuming that she wouldn't leave, even if she wanted. (Unless BioWare pulls a mean scapegoat, like make her an Admiral of the Flotilla... facepalm)

It MUST be done!

Now here's a topic for discussion. Had Tali's father survived, how do you think he would react to Tali being with Shepard? Would he actively try to act against it? Do you think he could ever accept it?

Let's do it right this time, yes?

As one of the most cynical members on the forum, I have actually seen an improvement on the last thread in terms of content, but can we further this?

It'd be nice if the original post was cut down. No need for those ridiculous "post count milestones."

We don't really know enough about Rael for us to really make a judgement on that matter.

His death was a great misfortune.

This IS cut down.  It did list every 500, which was usually several to a day.

Edit:  Hey, look!  A Tali!

Nuclear, you should probably post a link to the talizorah.org website in the OP. If you haven't already.
