same issue too,. I reinstalled the game and all is now working. thank God for the save game file. On the whole, the game run very good.

Same here.

I notice that under the configure-game selection on the start-up menu it is listing my version info under both DAOrigins.exe and DAOriginsLauncher.exe as v1.01 but DAOriginsConfig.exe and Uninstall Dragon Age.exe as v1.03,so I'm guessing that the problem is in there having somehow having mismatched files

Worked.  Perhaps the search function should be enabled, or the original entry should be stickied since its somewhat important.
