3.      Problem
Details

a.      When it comes to problem details, think about the
five basic questions. Who? What? When? Where?
Why? Okay, so “Who?”
doesn’t really apply here, but the others do.

I am 12 hours into the game, then all of a sudden when I launch the game to play it again, my character doesn't move at all. He doesn't respond to change in key  bindings neither. Shooting, turning (with the mouse), and other commands still work along with npc movement. The only thing that doesn't work is moving with the WASD keys and I tried loading different saves, uninstalling and reinstalling. None of it is working and it is frustrating.

I thought it was a save game issue, it's not, I thought it was an install one too. It's not. So what the world is it that makes shepherd unable to respond to any move keys when the first 11 hours of the game worked and ran smoothly but now it is defunct? I even ignored the choppy dialogue where words were missing sometimes earlier in the game, but something as integral as walking malfunctioning in this gameplay that is needed to play is unacceptable.

d.     Where? Where does the problem
occur? Is the problem localized to a particular planet or does
it occur everywhere?

It occurs EVERYWHERE, I tried loading onto everywhere, this problem seems to have bugged its way through everything. It started after when I got to the first or second cutscene on the Horizon level fighting the collectors.

Let's find out the likelihood that you guys are going to fix this problem, especially when people shell out money for your products and you just don't seem to GAF.

5 things

1) The real Sheldon would already know the answer, and have fixed it, along with writing a patch and distributing it via bittorrent.

2) Shouting in the subject heading doesnt help.

3) Narky comments dont help either.

4) Does it happen with all characters, or just one?

5) Using onboard, or external keyboard? If onboard, is it recognised as a PS2, or USB keyboard? If external, again, is it PS2, or USB. (PS2 is the round style plug, USB is the flat rectangular one)

If its only happening with one character, i would guess that there is a corruption in the save game file.

You might be able to fix it by opening the game using the the save game editor. open the file, save it, then load it.

Your PC doesn't meet the minimum system requirements. This is probably not causing the problem but I'm just saying official customer support will probably not help you because of this.

This is not our product and we're not getting paid for this. This is unofficial support between forum members.

Oh, where's the official support forum? Don't the devs read this?

For official support you have to go the EA's customer support page. BioWare devs have been able to solve problems here in the past but that doesn't happen very often.

the Shepard stuck in places he/she shouldnt even enter is common in ME2, after all, Shepard is butting in everywhere and, quoting the batarian from Omega "everywhere you show up, things explode"

getting stuck is probably the game's revange, if Bioware decide to fix that minor bug by all means, there are more annoying problems with the game, for instance, why Shepard has only 4 casual clothings (especially female shepard) l mean going to a bar in an armor just asks you to get poisoned by a batarian bartender, the game world should be more diverse in zones, for example, entering a bar area should have different zoning, where you can wear your casual clothing instead of a piece of armor, party member should be spread out collecting info or just chatting with others,

l personally never seen a need to wear armor in the Afterlife, only when you exitted to more combattinve areas, l think Bioware should think more on casual zones, and non-casual zones where wearing armor is actually needed, and the game has a lot of such places. that aspect of the game was really not thought through exactly, also, why does shepard needs to take care of the fishies, shepard has an AI on board, she can handle that easily, l needed to restock on a few fishes cuz l was busy with a mission and forgot, pain in teh ass.

Everything is potentially going to fall back to the extreme slowness of onboard video, however, for this to affect the movement controls specifically is at least unusual.

The only proven work-around for running junk instead of a real video card has been the lowest possible screen resolutions.  I don't see anywhere here that 640 by 480 has been tried.
