I'd be greatly interested in playing through the First Blight. It could be a community project, a two-hour DLC, or a complete expansion pack; I don't really care. It's just something I'd like to see. In Origins, we experienced the beginnings of a Blight that was gradually spreading across Fereldan. There was a great deal of land that it didn't touch, and it was really stopped before it even began.

Then there was the First Blight. It had nearly two centuries to make its mark on the world. It goes without saying that this would be a complete 180 from the world we've seen so far. Everyone must have known the threat the Darkspawn posed. The entire would would have been shaped by the Blight, whereas in the Fifth there were many who knew almost nothing of it. Some didn't even believe in it.

Then there were the Gryphons. They weren't extinct back then, now were they? And the Dwarves before they were driven to the brink of extinction. Weisshaupt. The origins of the Joining Ritual, and learning about the repercutions of the taint. The Barbarians, Hell, this was in Andraste's lifetime. I doubt I'm the only one who'd pay a lot of good money to see this kind of content.

EDIT 2: Technically, this wouldn't be Dragon Age, would it?
