Yes. As long as you sign in with your account and EA account, you can download it from wherever you want. Its a one-time redeemable code, so make sure your signed into your accounts or else you just hooked your buddy up with some free stuff.

Dude don't worry about it, its just people with thier e-egos. Internet tough guys and such. Believe it or not, its okay to have a question, thats what these boards are for. Good luck getting your DLC.

He bought a single player game, so if he doesn't have internet, no big deal. Quit bashing him. And yes you can use anyone's internet connection to d/load, just use your log in. Once its downloaded you don't need to be online anymore, if I remember right.

If you take your xbox to ur friend's house you will be able to sign up and download, but I'm unsure if the DLC will work without logging into the DA servers on each startup.
Anyone know if this will work for him?

For the PC version you do not need to be logged in. I suppose its the same with all versions.

I'm not sure, On the PC you can log in to activate the downloads, then log off and it works fine. You don't need to be online. Might be different for the xbox version.

As far as this check, I know Oblivion and Fallout 3 have a similar DLC checking system regardless of whether or not you are online. I'm pretty sure this check is on system only.

You might as well just play the game without the dlc right now... If you take the box to your friends house you'll be able to download your extra content and start up a silver account.. but until they fix the "having to be online to play with dlc" thing.. you won't be able to use the dlc content. It might be worth it to go ahead and use your codes. I don't think there's any time limit on those things but you never know. It might feel like wasted money right now.. but if you hold on to that CE.. (especially without using the codes.) It'll probably be worth a little something in the future... or not. It's always a gamble with collectors items.

The ability to play any downloadable content or arcade games while not connected to Live is the same for all Xbox 360 games. You're only able to play downloadable content on the specific Xbox it was originally downloaded to. So be sure you take your whole xbox and hard drive to your friends house. If you just plug your hard drive into his xbox to get the content you will not be able to access the content offline when you plug it back onto your xbox.
