So, I saw this on another forum a while back and just thought it might make a fun thread on our own forum.
At its simplest, the idea involves two people (Person A and Person
Person A posts:
I am very faithful to Shepard and always seem to agree with him/her, though sometimes I get the weird feeling that I'm a mere tool for him to use for navigating the galaxy, but deep inside I know I'm wrong. I also like to claim to be the best human helmsman with the most technologically sophisticated starship in the known galaxy. Not to mention I have an exceptionally efficient and yet annoying AI system next to me, which, fortunately, I tend to get along with well for the most part. Who am I?
Person B posts:
Joker. (which is obviously correct)
Then, Person B proceeds to share new data about another character for other people to guess. This is supposed to be repeated every time a new post has been made, similar to the quiz game we've played numerous times before on the forum.
OK, time for the real thing. Here is my "question" for whoever posts next:
I am a deeply spiritual man who believes that the body and soul are two separate entities. While on-duty, I prefer to finish the job quick and clean, without drawing unnecessary attention. People may mistaken me for a dangerous criminal, but my beliefs and spirituality make me recognize the irrelevance of others' opinions. Who am I?
Notice how I wrote my character hints in paragraph form using "I am" and "I" to refer to the characters, such that it feels as if they're the ones who wrote about themselves. You can do it that way or any other way you like, but try to keep whatever you write brief enough so things don't feel slow and boring.
One last note: Make sure what you write is unique to the character in question. There are many variables, so be careful!
That's all. I hope this turns out to be a fun game for you, guys. It seemed to be a successful idea on other game forums, so why not?
