I was thinking, if you don't have anything to discuss I'm sure no one here would be opposed to you discussing other RPG news. The Dragon Age well is a little dry at the moment (although I guess you only have 2 more casts before DA2 comes out).

On the topic of CD Projekt's comments about DA2, I agree that it was probably out of line to say it (rule #1, never directly criticize someone else's game). Even if the game does looks better (although I disagree with this, TW2 is striving for realism whereas DA2 is striving to look different) since when have graphics mattered in RPGs?

Also enjoyed the vampire talk and YES, enough already with the angst ridden, floppy haired, sparkly, backpack wearing emo vampires of teenage fiction and give us back the immoral, face-tearing monsters of Carpenter and Schumacher (oh, how I miss thee)!!!
As for the DA2 question and answer session, I suspected it would be a washout and it was. That said, it was great seeing a little gameplay (the game is looking a whole lot better than I convinced myself if would). Colour me excited.
Again, great job all - thanks for taking the time to put the podcast together.

I know I'm not the only one who feels this way. Every time a new episode comes out, I fool myself into thinking "maybe they'll actually discuss DAO/DA2 this time!"
But no, all I get is a bunch of kids rambling about pretty much NOTHING. The closest you get to actual in-depth discussion is usually talk of new mods or some slight news of DA2. Its ridiculous, and a waste of time for people who genuinely want to listen to a REAL Dragon Age podcast.
It cant be that hard to think up topics for episodes. I should know, my friends and I have our own podcast (not Dragon Age releated though).
Point is, I think its stupid to download a podcast called the "Dragon Age Podcast" to only get a few minutes of actual DA discussion and an hour or so of non-nonsensical rambling on such riveting and relevent topics as japanese video games like NEAR, or the Splinter Cell games.

I seriously think you guys should change your show's name. For a podcast called "Dragon Age Podcast," Dragon Age seems to be the last thing you discuss.

What should they talk about when there isn't much new information on either game right now? Sometimes it's better to talk about seemingly unrelated topics and with members of the player community, like Ann, than to rehash what we already know episode after episode. I'm sure the next few episode will be more to your liking, as there will be lots of DA2-related content.

Why not discuss Origins in the meantime? That game does still exist.
Topic ideas:
DLC discussion
Character/Romance discussion
Speculation about how Origins' Warden plays into DA2
A "what you'd like to see" episode on DA2
Dragon Age lore in general (mage's reputation, wardens calling, etc)
Maybe a "what choice did you make here" episode
Best armorsets in the game
Discussion of classes (templar, assassin, etc) and how best to use them (tanking, supporting, etc)
That sort thing is what I usually look for in a podcast. Sure, maybe there would be less episodes, but honestly? I think how much you actually discuss the game(s) is more important to how many paper-thin episodes you can scrounge together.
Truly, this wouldnt be as big a deal if the commentators had anything interesting to say. I feel like I might as well have the radio on.

Sounds like you've got it all planned out. Why don't you do your own show? If you think our episodes are "paper thin" then perhaps you're looking for something else. We don't expect to please everyone, but plenty of people do find what we have to say inetresting. If you don't, you don't have to listen. Goodbye.

You do listen to podcasts, right? The majority of them consist of non-sensical rambling. If you don't like it, no one is forcing you to listen.
