I am using Shale's Rock mastery witrh my ranger/archer rogue. When he activated rock mastery, my ranger draws his bow and seldom fires. This is true without any buffs, rapid fire on or off, or aim on or off, or any combination of the above. I do NOT have a rapid fire/aim bow on.
So, is there a bug with rock mastery?

Doesn't the rock mastery have an upgrade so that it has an AoE spell that increases friendly range skill or something?

This bug is also affecting my pc and every other archer. Its a real shame because the main reason I got the dlc was because rock mastery makes archery a more viable option.

yes, any kind of haste inadvertingly increases aim time instead of reducing it(bugged). It can be kinda worked around by stacking items with the "rapid aim" attribute, most notably the repeater gloves.
The gloves are bugged, but in our favour. the gloves are supposed reduce aim tim by 0.3 seconds, however, they actually reduce aim time by 3.0 seconds. This can offset the penalty imposed by shales rock mastery.

This information is simply wrong. Although it is correct that the spell haste and swift salves do increase aim time Shale's rock mastery has never done this on the PC version. Shale's rock mastery actually counteracts the penalties of haste and swift salve. This glitch is completely seperate in that it doesn't add a 0.3 second to aim time but a substantial amount of at least 5 seconds. Equipping repeater gloves does NOT make rock mastery any more usable for console players as it appears to debuff attack rating as well.BLunted wrote...

I can confirm that on the PS3, Rock Mastery + Repeater Gloves is bugged. With Aim on, Repeater Gloves without Rock Mastery fire at the -3.0 second clip. Turn Rock Mastery on, and it appears that aim time is actually LONGER than Aim with no buffing equipment at all. Terrible bug that cancels out an awesome bug.
