Ok so it seems about 95% of ME players hated the Mako ,I for one loved it!!  I loved the little retro boosters on its under carege I loved its guns (Mako sniping champ right here) and even tho it took some getting use to I loved its handling.  Im getting cinda tierd of hearing mostley negativity about the Mako which i belive was one of the best parts of ME1 ,It made the side missions and the world exploration fun ,well a hell of a lot better than ME2's exploration any way.  Back to the handling ,the mako is a scraper no doubt ("Scraper = colorfuly painted car usually four door specialy tuned for sideshows." form Nor cal book of ebonix) the best part of the side planets was hiting donuts and figure 8s with the mako and going off the big mountain ranges ,being a skate rat I always try to do tricks so far iv done a shove it, tre flip ,kick flip ,and a presure flip with the Mako.  The Mako was my favorite aspect of ME1 posibly the best and im willing to fight for that ,it truley devistated me when i found out that the mako (or mako lke system) wasnt going to be in ME2 so heres to the M35 Mako you will be truley missed (unles BW brings it back in ME3 Image IPB.

95% definitely isn't the percentage, don't worry about it.

Its not The Mako everyone hated, its the levels the Mako was on.

And personally, I loved it.

I don't see why people hated it. It seemed like driving a Warthog in Halo.

Make it 50% now.

Yea 50 sounds good. But i remember in the forums before ME2 came out that there where a bunch of peaople stating there dislike for the mako and the repetitavness of its missions and i think thats why BW took it out for ME2 which personaly i think was a BIG mistake

Truth...well, stupid people sometimes still blame the Mako due to the above reasoning, but meh...

I liked the Mako personally, although the planet side quests in Mass Effect were for the most part shocking to use the mako on.. Virmire, and bringing down the sky DLC were good examples of how to design levels properly for the mako. one linear and the other exploration but still story based.

90 degree slopes for most of a level is the wrong way to do it and the fact most of the side quest planets were for all intents and purposes barren wastelands really did not help matters.

I liked to drive the Mako I hate fighting with it because the combat was so repetitive.

I like the Mako as well. It's a lot better than the Hammerhead where all you have to do to kill an enemy is fire in a random direction and jump around.

I think the only thing that irked me about driving the Mako was that sometimes it does 180-degree turns in the air during a small hop. And since reversing is slow, you got to turn it around.

Yea I dont have live right now so I havnt played the fire walker pack but i heard it sucked

@ Ashton: I loved the combat my favorite thing to do was on the side planets post up on a high point pritty far away and snipe with the mako's cannon , i think it gives you a little extra XP if u make ranged kills as well.

I liked the idea of the mako, but not the way they executed it. It didn't handle properly and the worlds it was driven on were even worse.

That said, I would like mako sequances witht he hammerhead though. Exploring planets with that baby'd be awesome.

No. You get a LOT less XP if you kill things with Mako. Which is why I never use it to kill things.

Yea i know that but if its a ranged kill i think it gives u like 5 extra XP.  I could be wrong but never the less you still get way more for mowing enimies down on foot

You get only half XP for Mako kills. However, killing with the Mako tends to be faster, thereby you can use the saved time to kill other things and get XP.

I very much enjoyed the Mako, I just hated that one level where it was so mountainous that it was almost impossible to get to the resources and there was very little pay off to do so. Mako had great weapons and armor, so it was fun to blast geth when travelling to mission zones.

I also love the hammerhead, it's vastly different than the Mako but it is so much more maneuverable. If I had the hammerhead in ME1 to explore the mountainous planets I would have had a blast! The jump, boost, and speed of the hammerhead is infinitely more enjoyable than what the Mako could do. However, the weak armor and weak weapons, also with the strange turbulence when collecting artifacts made it a little disappointing in those aspects.

If they merge the weapons of the mako with the hammerhead, the hammerhead would be the supreme vehicle. Which I wouldn't mind because it is much more fun to travel difficult terrain with the Hammerhead than the Mako.
