Well it uses mass accelerator cannon, those can't curve and is purely line of sight. And seeing you can reach anywhere with the Mako on it's wheels (Element zero core reduces it's mass, making it light), the thruster doesn't need to be that high, or overheats too quickly? There is already a cooldown time for small jumps.
How does the Mako get off the planets then?

If I am just making this
up, I am sorry, But I could swear I heard or read somewhere that the
Mako juieces the mass effect fields at the cost of everything else. so
maybe is that...think it was the books....no no, forgot. Maybe I am
just making this up lol duno.

The Mako missions got old after a while, it was always infiltrate the same base that looks exactly like the other bases you've infiltrated. Sure there's occasional Thresher Maw attacks and Geth traps, it got old. They need the Hammerhead that has the Mako's armor and shielding and the same weapons as the Mako. It also needs to be weather resistent, the Mako has been on colder planets then the hammerhead and the Hammerhead just freezes up.
True like I suggested, the Hammer head, but with planets in ME1.
Rock planets: asteroids etc
ME1 style of play, with different bases, empty landscapes, some hidden treasure here and there. Make bases look different inside and out.
Have the planet scanning, with the patch in ME3 but hear me out.
Have at least, 1 planets in every SYSTEM to be able to land. at least either to be a ME1 style of planet, going around with the hammer head shooting Maw's. Or a insertion type ME2 style of base, where you go exactly into the base port and fight the base. That would create a different feeling than just base insertions, or just empty exploration.
Change the tune, add more people. Dont just have 3 or 4 main pirate groups, have random groups with random or predetermined suits I duno, make something is the universe, there is gota be more groups than 4 out there.

Bring the Mako back, give it a few improvements, make uncharted worlds more varied and fun, and thats it. Everyone's happy.

Using the Mako cannon took some timing and skill but that was what made it interesting to use.
Getting stuck in some mountains was frustrating but that was the planets faulth, not the Makos.

Wich was extra frustrating as ramming a Collossus was so fun to do.

As for the quality of the missions, that's really neither here nor there because a) they have nothing to do with which is the better vehicle and
So in conclusion, this is yet another retarded ME1 vs ME2 fanboy debate. Yawn.

My point proven, its not that people hated the Mako, its that they hated the terrain the Mako was on.

True, but I would nto say the terrain exactly, just how long it took to explore it. and the .....simplicity of it. same things over and over and over and over and over and over and...well you get the idea.
Hence why I suggested. Me style planets but with the hammer head... and of course more variety.
So the open landscapes but with the fast hammerhead, and more imagination put into em would have made it perfect in my view

but its real problem was the fact that you could aim down, but not shoot down, so you'd constantly be pointing the reticule at enemies and firing with nothing happening, which was beyond infuriating.
This. I don't know how someone can say that the Mako was good with this problem happening everytime.

Yea i know that but if its a ranged kill i think it gives u like 5 extra XP. I could be wrong but never the less you still get way more for mowing enimies down on foot
Correct, best way to do is damage the enemies with the mako and leave a bit of lifes left so you can kill it on foot.....takes less time to take them down and you get full XP when you are on foot.

I don't play Mass Effect to maximize my XP, do you?
