for the missions. i will say it was all to little. in me1 it was like you drive to places, jumped out of the mako and up aiming with your gun, then run to the site. it was a better feel to it. in me2 when you jumped from the hammerhead and out you where suddenly in mission area if i remember correct. It was a excellent addition, but not enough. The missions where done in no time. i think me1 was much better there exploring all the planets, it seem so far and distant, and a cool feeling it was, yup i miss the mako to. btw didnt the make have a jetpack or booster to jump alittle or do i remember wrong...
anyway cheers

Most of the issues I sse on here are due to the player and not the game. Terrain itself can be utilized as a defense in combat if you know what you are doing. For something like an armored vehicle such as the Mako, seeking to get a hull down position behind a slight rise and making yourself a moving target. The Mako is also designed to fight at a distance, it's not an urban warfare vehicle.

What really killed the Mako, though, was its environments. Story missions were fine- uncharted worlds sucked. The Mako had fantastic climbing abilities for a vehicle such as itself, but far too often I was faced with a steep miniature mountain with my goal on top or on the other side, with no obvious easy way up or around. THAT I HATED. If BioWare had left the Mako in but actually put effort into the Uncharted World areas to drive around in, that would have been fine.

Yea i know that but if its a ranged kill i think it gives u like 5 extra XP. I could be wrong but never the less you still get way more for mowing enimies down on foot
Correct, best way to do is damage the enemies with the mako and leave a bit of lifes left so you can kill it on foot.....takes less time to take them down and you get full XP when you are on foot.
I don't play Mass Effect to maximize my XP, do you?
I did that to try to get level 60 in 1 playthrough.....but got stucked after level 56.....those poits after 56 are just insane....you need to do a second playthrough to get 60

Well it uses mass accelerator cannon, those can't curve and is purely line of sight. And seeing you can reach anywhere with the Mako on it's wheels (Element zero core reduces it's mass, making it light), the thruster doesn't need to be that high, or overheats too quickly? There is already a cooldown time for small jumps.
How does the Mako get off the planets then?
The Normandy lands and the Mako drives up the ramp......? Really, what did you think.
