As a long time supporter of your product and a big supporter for DAO on the PS3 I really hope that you listen out not only to me but to the rest of the your PS3 DAO gamers. We have been asking for a patch to resolve some known major bugs with DAO. Some more annoying than other but all are important to us as customers. We all hope that you are working on patch to get these major issues resolved. Below are the issues and it would be nice to hear from you confirming or denying that the issues are going to resolved so that we can enjoy this great game.

1) DLC - please help those who are unable to download or get their DLC. We paid good money for this game and we do love it but not having the this content upsets some of us and those of us who do have it would like our counter parts to enjoy these items as we have
2) Freezing - this is like the DLC issue. Some continue to experience freezing, other not so. I am one few that is lucky enough to have 2 PS3 that has no issue freezing and can play DAO, DA Awakening and the DLCs without any freezing. It would be nice if almost all of us, because there can be no 100%,  up and running DAO, etcc. without it freezing.
3) Frame rate - this is a very known issue with all PS3 users. It annoys all of us. We understand that the game was ported form the PC/XBox 360, but you should now have a patch in place or in the works that could improve some of the frame rate for DAO
4) DAO / DA Awakening game issues (Dagger/Bow Dex bug, missing codexes, etc...) - For me personally it is the Dex bug because it is already fixed on the PC. How about porting that fix over the the consoles.

If you could fix the four issues above I know a lot of PS3 owners would start another DAO game or two or more. I know I would.

Also, it would be nice to know if you are working on a patch to fix any of the issues above. I have read quite a few post from gamers who stopped playing because of these bugs. If you acknowledge us as your customer and inform us that you are doing something to fix these, most will be happy to know that a fix is on the way. Even if it is a small fix.

I hope other PS3 owners sign this post. I believe the more that sign this post for these fixes and add other that they have noticed during their play we can give Bioware a nice list of issues to patch on one of their greatest games they created.

I honestly don't want to put downt he control but a few of the bugs are keeping me from continuing some of my games since they are too of an issue to continue with a specific characters or too big because I can't get past a certain point because of a bug.

I agree with this topic 100%, but I won't be polite about it. This is ridiculous. Bioware has had WAY TOO MUCH TIME to fix the frame rate and yet they continue to purposely ignore it. Each patch that is released hasn't helped it, in fact the first one made it worse for some. If your team isn't smart enough to develop for the PS3 (because it is harder to develop for) than stop trying, This game is a failure from a technical standpoint, you failed Bioware. I won't buy another PS3 product from you ever again.

FAIL!

Totally agree.

We paid for a playable game, but it's a fact Dragon Age is unplayable nowadays.

We need a true and real fix ASAP.

I had not many problems with DAO, but now I'm uncertain about Awakening, with all those negative comments...

Don't buy it until they patch it. The in-disc patch completely ruined my origins game as well and Awakening is unplayable.

Well, I've bought PSN version of Awakening (I'm in PAL region so no disk for us here), played for about 4 hours - no major problems so far. Well, the only thing I've noticed is that it appears that during big battles some sounds don't play properly. Music and voices will always play, but sometimes spell sounds and similar effects are missing. Not completely, but not playing every time. For example, you casted inferno and thrown a fireball and after that you don't hear sound of staff missiles impact - they're 100% absent, since after some time they start to play again. It never happened in DAO and I can't say it really bothers me, but it still should be fixed.

Also: I started Awakening and got Perfectionist trophy for some strange reason.

It's the retail versions patch that was the issue for me (and I have made the wild guess that this is because the retail patch was probably finalized and sent to print before the other patches and DLC were released)

Well, they did react to other topics and all...if you really want to see devs laughing about stupid customers having bought buggy software, visit Bethesdas Fallout 3 GOTY-PS3-boards.^^

I am glad DA:O works perfectly for me with firmware 3.30 and the latest patch, but I will definately not try my luck with Awakening or any other DLC seeing how many people report problems. Especially for Awakening, seeing that as a European I have to pay 40 Euros, that´s almost 50 US-Dollars for just a download.

So far we know that retail Awakening Blu-Ray disk is broken and unplayable because an old patch is on disk. PSN version of Awakening has no such problems (every opinion on quality is debatable, so let's say it's just as good as DA:O).

AND UNLOCK THE ****ING SAVES

Don't worry, you are not the only idiots that have this feature. I lost Killzone 2 and Assassin's Creed 2 data as well. People put too much work into these games to loss them. Thanks to all the people of this fine company who I messaged and did not get back to me, I hope you enjoy the lost sales.

Well, downloadable PSN version is alright, but retail disk is useless, yes. At least for now - they'll probably fix it sooner or later. Problem is not with the Awakening itself, but with a patch, included with retail version.

How did you register Awakening if you downloaded it from the PSN? I did the same, but I don't know how to register it... Also, my PSN version lags like crazy, and has huge sound drops that get so out of control that I can't finish Awakening until a patch is released. Yeah, this is the last time I buy an expansion pack from Bioware on the first day its released (or a little longer b/c PSN didn't update until Thursday).

How did I register it? Easy. Simply used  UPC code which is same for all copies and is present on all retail boxes - it's 014633194203. Yep, damn Bioware made it impossible to register PSN version unless you use code from retail boxes. Thanks internet such info is no secret.
I've experienced sound drops in the beginning, in the keep, but after that they stopped. I've experienced some lag, but to be honest only in a couple of areas and nothing major. I've already finished Awakening once and will play more, I've heard stories of bugged quests, but haven't experienced any such bugs. I had 1 real problem though: in the final dungeon some textures were missing - I've saved, quit the game (to the main menu) and loaded again - and everything was back to normal. Oh, and in one of random encounters minimap was missing. Probably I should mention that I have a 80GB PS3 and all DLC are installed.

PSN now updates on Wednesdays. For me at least (PAL region).

Now I believe Bioware is ignoring us..........During the looooooooooong time we waited for that non-exist patch, they made FOUR DLCs!!!!!!!!!! FOUR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I mean can this patch be much more difficult than DLCs? I don't think so. So now I'm totally disappointed.......And I think I'm stupid that I bought 2 DLCs for this game!!!!!! I should have sticked with my illegally downloaded PC version!

Thought l was the only one still with DLC issues. Please, most of my characters are now locked away unplayable due to Blood Armor and Stone Prisoner being corrupted by the patch and cannot download them again[stupid one time limit offer idea].

Next time, please have ALL DLC THRU THE PSN STORE.

Vig try deleting game data utility and reinstall Dragon Age, Darkspawn Chronicles and patch but dont use Blood Armor or Stone Prisoner.
