If the quarians decide to go to war with the geth in order to reclaim thier homeworld in ME3, there is a chance you'll have to pick a side. Click on the link below and vote for who you would like to side with if this were to occur.

http://social.biowar...038/polls/6186/

Also, why pick this side? Please give detailed reasons why.

I personally would want a diplomatic solution and not have the quarians go to war. However if they do, I would side with them. Because Tali is my LI, and the quarians are hopelessly outnumbered and outgunned by the Geth, they'll most likely need Shepard's help.

Quarians got booted by the Geth and had to settle for life as galactic hobos, so haha. Maybe they can get the Volus to help them buy the worlds back or something.

No middle ground? Why can't we negotiate peace? I thought I read somewhere that the Quarian homeworld is relatively unchanged, and that the Quarians could readjust easily. Why don't they enter a partnership with the Geth? Quarians farm the planet, do whatever it is they do, and Geth help rebuild/defend. Then when reconstruction is over, the two work as economic partners. Quarians and Geth combined would create some of the best tech in the known universe. Then grant the Geth and the Quarians a joint-embassy on the Citadel.

Geth. Tali's and all the Quarians we ever see except Koris' racism has always, majorly annoyed me. If the Quatians go to war, Geth in a heartbeat. And out of the ones we see so far, the only one I'd be sorry to kill in such circumstances would be Koris if he stuck with the fleet. Sorry, Tali, try being more open-minded in the afterlife!

EDIT:Though I would favor peace.

I voted for the Quarrians. I'd also prefer there's an option which ends in a peaceful resolution wherethe Quarrians get their homeworld back and the Geth get a better galactic rep.

If I had to choose a side for a shooting war it'd be the Quarrians. First because Im a Tali fan and also chose her as a LI. However I also have always had a soft spot for Quarrians. Maybe I feel like they got handed a poor living situation and want to make up for it but also because I choose organic life over synthetic. Legion is cool and brings a whole new perspective to the Geth but be that as it may I still identify more with the organics.

Quarians annoy me (the only quarian I can tolerate is Admiral Xen...I like her voice!)

I'm saying IF the quarians go to war. That doesn't mean that we can't negotiate peace. I'm just seeing who the ME fans will mostly side with IF a war ever did break out.

Although I like your scenario of how the Geth and Quarians should co-exist. Although even then, it may be difficult for them to get an embassy due to thier past. Not to mention the Geth did help Soveriegn attack the Citadel, even if it was just the Heretics.

QFT - Though I don't exactly like Quarians, for some odd reason I just don't like them.

In game, the Quarians - because Tali's my girl.

In reality, the Geth. Quarians fired the first shot, Geth defended themselves. There was no reason the uprising had to happen.

P.S I would go for peace, but if I had to choose, I would go with Quarians.

The geth.

This may seem callous considering I have Tali in my signature, but just think about it. This is just like what happened in Battlestar Galactica. The geth were created by quarians. They rebelled. They evolved. They look, and feel huma-

Okay, I'm going on a tangent. Bad FourSixEight. Anyway. Where was I? Oh, right. The quarians deliberately designed the geth as slaves, despite their knowledge that the geth would eventually develop some kind of intelligence. They used the geth for menial and dangerous labor and didn't even think of them as more than toys.

Which is reasonable, considering they're machines, except the geth were specifically designed to get smarter the more of them are around. The quarians get a massive facepalm for not designing around this flaw, as it enabled the geth to become truly sentient. And what do the quarians do? They don't say, "we're sorry." They don't say, "we'll treat you better." They try to wipe all the geth out just because they had the gall to say, "why are we here?"

And when they failed, they ran away. And what did the geth, the children of the quarians, do, beside acting in self-defense? Nothing. Didn't chase after them, didn't try to use bioweapons on them. They just sat despondently on the quarian homeworld and didn't do anything for the next however many years.

They just wanted to understand, and in response to that, the quarians said, "frell it, you're going down!" I don't know about you, but if I were in the geths' position, I would have done worse than simply safeguarding the quarian homeworld and playing checkers until the Heretics rebelled.

Poor Legion. He has so many issues to deal with in ME3.

Quarians attacked first, so the Geth defended themselves, now they blame the Geth for taking their homeworld? They deserve it.

And the Geth are a more powerful ally then the Quarians.

The geth.
The first conflict was solely the fault of the quarians because they freaked at the idea of geth gaining self-awareness. The geth are not interested in a war with their former masters, so the only side that will start one will be the quarians. If they do, then I will do the decent thing and support the geth.

^this
That's why I allowed Legion to send the data and I had enough Renegade points for the keep both loyalties option.

The Humans in BSG admit that it was their fault, the quarians are to blind to see it.

If I where the Geth I would nuke the Quarians from orbit, or infilitrate their fleet with Quarian androids and sabotage it.:P

I would prefer a alliance between them though, the Geth and quarians fighting
against the Heretic forces... oh wait that sounds familiar[smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/tongue.png[/smilie]

Not a lot I hope. I try not to let fans change how I feel about characters and such. If I did I'd despise Jack because a certain Jack fan who shall remain unnamed is always so scathing to me about Miranda.

But I love Jack! She's so adorable. I cannot let such things affect my judgment. Poor Jack, it's not her fault.

Geth. I like the quarians, I really do, but they need to get their act together, most realize it was their mistake for starting the war with the geth, but most can not get over their hatred of the geth.

If the quarians start shooting first, then I side with the geth.

If the geth shoot first, I side with the quarians.

Heck, I probably would side with the geth in either case since I would want to make sure the geth don't wipe out the quarians completely because of an few retards at the top.
