Its not blind trust. I never said I really believed him, but so far you didn't present any proof that the geth are a danger and that the quarians are justifed to attack and we to support them. Even your claiming that Legion is going to pull a twist in personality isn't that secure as you see it, as you had already a plottwist by seeing that the geth maybe ain't the enemy.

I don't trust any squad member nor organization nor anybody in the real world. I just didn't have any hint that Legion is wrong and it would be smart to attack the Geth before dealing with the reapers ESPECIALLY just to regain the quarian homeworld.

And yes, I destroyed all heretic geth on the station as I didn't trust Legion enough to simply overwrite them.

Because so many people liked Legion.  No more, no less.  This argument has been going on since ME2 came out, and it's always the same thing.  Legion fanboys shouting how their newly precious Geth are so perfect and wonderful that everyone should love them. 

Legion is a Geth Infiltrator.  He's been doing that for two years trying to find Shepard.  He's proven himself capable of lying with that story about telling the Salarians and the made-up constellation looking like their goddess from the Batarian homeworld.  He's given no reason to trust him.  Every Geth we've encountered has tried to kill us.  Why is this one different?  Because he says so?  If you buy that, then I have some wonderful beach-front property to sell you in Nevada.

Kind of hyprocritical when soa lot of people are siding with the Quarians because of Tali.

No it's like saying if you house is on fire you would save your computer over your wife or child. Geth are machines that have no concept of self. Legion even tells you this, there is no I or me, just Geth. So is killing one Geth really murder since there is no individual? The Geth are kind of tricky like that. I guess it just depends on you views. But the Geth are indeed just machines, very advanced machines. But machines none the less.

DIfficult question. Who's side would you choose in the movie AVATAR? 99% of my friends said that they sould choose the side on a good blue monkeys instead of evil dirty humans who can destroy. WHen I tried to tell them that entire EARTH requires resources and joining with Navi is a treason of a whole planet they just kept saying crap that blue monkeys are good cuz they live in harmony with their Pandora.



same here. Quarians created the Geth and then wanted to destroy them. Yes, they are the creators and can destroy their own creation BUT geth are also intelligent and want to live...I don't know who is right here. both of those factions should decide how to live in harmony. there are only 17 million quarians left... it's a disaster

it does depend upon your views. Does an Ant have an definition of self even though it's an hive mind? Yes, because we call it an Ant. Otherwise when refer to Ants, we would just say Ant. The geth are an hive mind except that there is "individual" programs. The best definition of geth is neurons in your brain. they work in unison, but when you pick apart the cluster of neurons, there is an single neuron.

On the Avatar - we got both sides in the movie, considering that only an select few humans out of the entire base got exposed to them, and almost everyone who had an inkling of understanding about the Navri, sided with them.

I think that the quarians will only go to war if you encourage them to do so, thus you will be siding with them BEFORE a possible conflict. However, my Shep will do everything in his power to stop a war, mainly for the quarians sake, the geth would be fine and recover quite fast IMO. But I kinda also like the 'new' geth that Legion represents, if he really speaks for all non-heretic geth then they became a quite fine race in the 300 years.

I would side with quarians that were attacked by the geth 100% of the time, just to protect a race from probable extinction.

I would not side with quarians who attacked the geth themselves though. But I wouldn't side with the geth either, they could take care by themselves, they kick ass.

yeah, my point of view, siding with the geth ensures that you make sure the geth don't decide to completely kill the creators, instead destroy enough warships to disable them and force an retreat by simply "we ran out of military muscle".

Though I agree, Punishing the quarians for their fore-fathers actions for something they had no play in is dumb. I side with the geth to save the quarians from their own foolishness.

If you had, you'd know that the geth live in space stations and mine asteroids. They're only caretakers for the quarian homeworld and clean up the damage from the Morning War.

I think the most hilarious thing is, if the Quarians established communications with the Geth and ASKED for their homeworld back, the Geth would most likely say, "Sure " and let them have Rannoch again.
