Mass effect does not require Co-op, or Multiplayer to be good. There it is, unadorned fact.
By the same token, ham does not require bread to be edible. But I'll be a son-of-a-Krogan if a Ham sandwich isn't better than just cold ham slices 90% of the time. Add some mayo, and other "Extra's" and usually the sandwich get's progressively better.
Really, considering the amount of times the AI has pulled Dilbert-grade "Get behind cover here" stunts that end up with me being the last man standing because despite all her engineering Miri can't manage to work out what "Duck and COVER"means .. Well, let's just say I hope for Co-op, not Multiplayer.
PS: Dear dolts, Cop-op does not mean the game will warp the fabric of space and time so that it can somehow force you to play with others. 'nuff said.
Aargh, Bioware please don't tell me you're going the multiplayer route for ME3
