You had me at chocolate.

The more I read that the description the less it reads like a parody and more like the Adult sequel to Willy Wonka.

And the original was horrifying enough.

Is it because the snozberries taste like snozberries?

As if I didn't want to go postal on them to begin with.

And I think the courts would be lenient, I would be being provoked after all.

If a bad thread falls in the forest and no moderator is there to hear it... does it make a sound?

Physics and wave manipulation do not apply to code.

Here if I can write things, they happen!

I could make a forest completely devoid of sound waves.

On the contrary, I think the OP's thought would've made for a great conversation piece in the game.

Someone always hounding you about what you saw in the afterlife - perhaps that mad prophet on Omega. They could even skirt the issue by having you not answer.

"You! You there, heathen! I know you, returned from beyond the BEYOND!! Tell us, oh sinner, oh harbinger of doom, what is the next world like? What did you see of your fiery damnation?!"

Dialogue choices:

It was awesome. ("The galaxy was in flames, and the humans still owned the Skyllian Verge.")
Oh, be quiet. ("F*ck off, four-eyes.")
I bring a message. ("I AM THE MESSIAH! BOW UNTO ME SO YE MAY RECEIVE HOLY PURIFICATION!!")
See for yourself. (Shoot the batarian.)

There should have only been a single dialogue choice, involving a shotgun and the Batarian's face.

Relax. I have it on good authority that the next DLC is going to evoke this issue. It will be 2-3 hours game time were you simply sit in a room with some friends, discussing philosophical and religious questions.

- Shepard, do you think our lives a predicted somehow, like its fate or something, or do we have entirely free will?

1. Free will.  - We are all individuals with free will to choose our own paths in life"
2. Don't ask me. - How am I supposed to know things like that?
3. We can't fight destiny: - No, our lives are determined, everything in the world is shaped by previous events and there is no purpose with life, or the world
4. Blasphemy! - There is no will but gods will! Follow it and you will find joy in life...maybe.
5. It's a game: - Since we are but digits in a machine and not real people, I'm gonna go ahead and say...don't dwell on it.

Seriously, I think I am on to something. It would be called like: "Mass Effect 2 - Theories on the Universe"
Btw, why isn't this thread closed yet?

Indeed. I'm surprised this thread is still going. Like, seriously. The debate is obviously going no where, not to mention it's really not what we should be talking about here.

In case you guys haven't realised, every time you contribute you keep it going. A couple of us pretty effectively set it off on a completely unrelated tangent.

Oh no I imagine how it would've turned out if it would've been the way the thread maker said

Shepard awakes from his death, He looks around, hears explosions, something is not right. OH WAIT

"OMGWTFBBQ WER WAS TEH AFTERLIEF OM GEE I WUS SUPOSED TO BI HANGING WIT JESUZ AT TEH HEAVENZ LOL NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"

Spam removed, temp bans handed out. Now this gets locked for going WAY off-topic, spam, and discussion of religion.

End of line.
