as an answer to whoever mentioned translators a few pages back

Wouldn't it be cool if during a mission, they have to walk through a space station that harnessed a lot of power , then something short circuits and they get all get hit by wave or a pulse of electricity. Shields on their suits get turned off , leaving them venerable, can't contact joker and the translators on the aliens don't work. So shepard has to communicate with the alien members of the team without understanding what they are saying. So if its just humans you just know that you have to take cover more, if you have aliens you get bonus comical dialouge where you are trying to work out what the other is saying. Subtitles will automatically appear for the aliens.

Shepard: Is everyone alright?

Garrus: I'm fine but I think my sheilds are down

Shepard: What?

Garrus: I said I think my sheilds are down

Shepard: Garrus, I think your translator's broken

Garrus:  I can still understand you, guess yours is fine, unless you can speak perfect turian

Shepard: I wish I knew some turian so I could understand what the heck you were saying

Garrus: Nevermind..hmm, this might not be so bad , I could sass my commanding officer and get away with it..

Shepard: Don't even think about it Garrus, I may not know what you're saying but I know when you're being a smartass

Garrus: Am I that predictable?
