 I have bought and downloaded the files for Mass Effect from Steam.

I used the Bioware site to download and install Bring Down the Sky.

Now, I'm getting a General Protection Fault when I try to run the game.

Help, please.

If you have a Geforce video card, it's a long-known conflict caused by many older nVIDIA drivers.  You can't use old ones, and a couple of the newest are also problematic for some people.

So what's the solution, then? Is there one? I just tried a System Restore, and if that works, I'll just know not to download any DLC.

Edit: System Restore successful. Thank god.
