Just posting to check how many of you are still experiencing freezes with Dragon Age on ps3.
I still get some freezes, not any different from before the patch. I still disconnect the ethernet cable as this was causing more freezes.
I had really hoped that the patch would fix the problem, but alas it has not.....

Just a little rant... I wonder if Sony is still denying that there ever was a problem or maybe they are still saying that it's the ps3's fault, get a new one lol.... I'll get a new one when they admit there was a problem (never)

No freezes here. Well, I got 1 freeze during 90 hours of gameplay.

This is the first time I post since I got the game a week ago.



I can say that I have played it through once in about 60 hours, with not a single freeze occuring.



Another ~15 hours with other characters, and no freeze either.

So for me, with firmware 3.30 and the latest patch the game runs perfectly.



I am playing on SDTV by the way.

I'm playing on HDTV, I'd said that it runs perfectly, but:

1) I still had 1 freeze in 90 hours, there are more stable games on PS3, in Killzone 2 I haven't seen any freezes in more than 100 hours of gameplay total.

2) Game once died while loading epilogue scene - it wasn't completely frozen, but I had to bring the XMB and quit game to restart.

3) I've seen a strange graphical bug near Urn of Sacred Ashes - screen blinked several times - black screen for a half a second. Never seen that anywhere else and it occurred only once - I've been near Urn 3 times.

Yes, I am in Germany and using a UK-Collector´s Edition of DA:O.



I never played the game without firmware 3.30 and the patch, I only got if a day or 2 after the patch release, and no freezing-issues at all. The framerate sometimes becomes a bit low, but only when much action is happening, so that is normal and rather related to the engine and not some bug.



The DLC-codes all worked for me as well.

still freezing on me, every couple hrs. Awakining disc doesnt work at all. I played Resistance: Fall of man for 4 hrs the other night, no problems. The whole DAO experience has been ruined for me as this was the game that finally got me to buy a "next gen." console, wasent even intrested in anything else. but it has forced me to widen my gaming horizions and now ive played a lot of other awesome games that work great in every way so I guess it worked out. Sucks though cuz i really liked DAO but now its just kind of turning into a bitter memory. Its like R.I.P. Dragon Age - March 2010 - April 2010...

LOL T-man! thats one month! but mine is May 25 2010-May 26 2010! u know what i mean!(after i bought this game, i cant play this anymore ROFL)
