By default Shepard is male, just like what will happen in the movie.

By default Ashley is Shepard's love interest, just like what will happen in the movie.

By default, Wrex dies on Virmire, so it will happen in the movie. Don't let them kill him!

Considering there hasn't even been a writer officially attached to the project yet, so where you're getting that the writers are going to kill Wrex is beyond me.

what?!? well that sucks Wrex rocks and the second game wouldn't be thre same without him, can't they just change some things instead of going all by default?, hopefully the movie will be good [please, please,please, please] but yeah still I love Wrex it's going to really suck if they kill him off

Um, by default Shepard has no love interest. Ashley hugs him on Horizon if she was your romance in ME1. She doesn't do that in a default play-through of ME2.

Do we know that the film is going to be an adaptation of the game events? (as opposed to a new story set within the same universe, which would rock so much harder!) If so... bleh. But okay.

Default is not the best storyline/experience so I highly doubt they'll kill off Wrex just because it's in default, it could go either way. Default in me2 is there to make players who didn't play the first one to buy it so they can more of the storyline/better experience and thus make more money for bioware. Default is not to be confused as canon.

The default profile is not 'canon', there is no 'canon' for Shepard's story bar the comics of ME:1.5

Okay here's the thing about video game movies do not ever expect them to follow the plot, they'll use bits and pieces and remain true to the universe but if you want a VGM to follow a game exactly look at what the MK or Mario movies of the 90's were like. PoP was the Avatar of VGM it showed that they can be done and not screwed up, Hollywood has found a goldmine and they will not screw this up.
