Yes. Now that I’m in Austin and my share of the writing on ME#2 is done, I’m part of the MMO team. And I have to say, I’m very impressed by the quality and incredible scope of the stories we’re putting into the game.

Drew kept his job as Lead Writer, and they promoted Mac Walters from (Team) Writer to Lead Writer as well.

Huh. So his involvement in ME2 was significantly less than in ME1. Thought so.
And that was a big mistake in my opinion. Word has it he's the main reason the writing in ME 1 was so great, and I think they should have allowed him to continue his work on the series (with the time and resources he would have needed).

As far as I can tell, Drew wrote the outline of the entire trilogy before ME1 was even out, and was helping with the integration of it in both games. When that task was done with ME2, he moved on to Austin to work on TOR and left Mac to carry on the rest of the duties of Lead Writer in his absense. I was hoping he'd come back again one work began on ME3 though, but then perhaps he's also done all he needs to do for that as well.
This is also what I had heard. I really really hope he has a large role in Me3. Most likely he will be very busy with The Old Republic though
