Is there anything I should know about if I should attempt adding any downloadable content to Mass Effect if its run through Steam?

The last time I tried, I got nothing but General Protection Faults and had to perform a System Restore to fix it.

Just make sure you get the Steam-compatible installers, via Bioware's site (or EA's in the case of Pinnacle Station, I suppose). The Steam-incompatible installer for BDTS is still floating around on some sites.

I believe Kepha's thread at the top of this forum has the proper link for BDTS.

I don't see any links that are any different from the ones that gave me problems in the first place.

I just bought ME1 from Steam as well and according to the purchase page it already has the BDTS DLC included.

Check out the page here: http://store.steampo....com/app/17460/

Scroll down under 'About the game' and it will say 'Includes free additional content — face off against the horrific Batarians' aka BDTS.

You'll still have to purchase Pinnacle Station from EA I believe..

It doesn't actually come with it included, though you do get it for free. You have to register over at Bioware's old site to get a key and then download an installer (links in Kepha's sticked thread).
