I've said it before, but I think that when you enter a conversation Shepard should just take off his helmet or have it retract like in the Lost in Space move. They did it when Archangel was unmasked, they could do it for Shepard.

I don't mind him talking with it on that much, but I couldn't help but laugh when he'd take a drink through his helmet.

Helmets are riddiculous. No protection at all and they make you look like a rookie.

A rookie would be the idiot going into combat without any form of head protection.

You know, I don't want to be able to take off those helmets as much as I want to be able to put real armor suits on Miranda, Jack, Thane, etc...

Jack's the WORST!  Is that belt there to prevent zero-G jiggling?

But yeah, I want helmet toggle.  For like, the millionth time.

I support this WHOLEHEARTEDLY. If Miranda and the Illusive Man are capable of having this special Terminus Armor built from scratch and shipped specially to Shepard-Commander, surely they can find a way to remove the damn helmet!

I don't care if there's a minor penalty for doing so; being able to remove ones' helmet when wearing, say, Blood Dragon Armor, would be invaluable to some people.

I really don't care.

I only wear N-7 armor and I only wear Terminus or Inferno on Anomalys.

In ME1 we had helmet toggle. In ME2 we had perma-helm. In ME3 we get headless Shepard.

Nah, that breaks the pattern, in ME3 we get the single N7 helmet style but can choose a variety of silly hats to put on top of it.

No see with each game, the protection of your head gets better.

Just a quick reminder that BioWare does NOT accept pettitions on forums, and if this becomes that, it might get locked

Very smart choice on BioWare's behalf.

Except for the part where you still don't have to wear a helmet in ME2.

After taking the time to design my Shep's face, I'm like to be able to see it in conversation without having to gimp myself for the whole mission by going in without a helmet.

I especially want the Promo Armors to be redesigned with this feature.

If not in ME2, then it damn well better be in ME3!

I was thinking since they don't seem to want to add helmet toggle, it would be nice to have an armor screen when starting a new area, like when you pick weapons. That way you could take off your helmet while cruising the hubs and then put it back on when you start a mission without having to trudge all the way to your cabin.

Did you really need to drag up a 2 year old thread to post a one line reply to a 3 year old message?
