I don't mind him talking with it on that much, but I couldn't help but laugh when he'd take a drink through his helmet.

You know, I don't want to be able to take off those helmets as much as I want to be able to put real armor suits on Miranda, Jack, Thane, etc...
Jack's the WORST! Is that belt there to prevent zero-G jiggling?
But yeah, I want helmet toggle. For like, the millionth time.

I don't care if there's a minor penalty for doing so; being able to remove ones' helmet when wearing, say, Blood Dragon Armor, would be invaluable to some people.

I only wear N-7 armor and I only wear Terminus or Inferno on Anomalys.

In ME1 we had helmet toggle. In ME2 we had perma-helm. In ME3 we get headless Shepard.
Nah, that breaks the pattern, in ME3 we get the single N7 helmet style but can choose a variety of silly hats to put on top of it.

Just a quick reminder that BioWare does NOT accept pettitions on forums, and if this becomes that, it might get locked

No see with each game, the protection of your head gets better.
Except for the part where you still don't have to wear a helmet in ME2.

After taking the time to design my Shep's face, I'm like to be able to see it in conversation without having to gimp myself for the whole mission by going in without a helmet.
I especially want the Promo Armors to be redesigned with this feature.
If not in ME2, then it damn well better be in ME3!

I've said it before, but I think that when you enter a conversation Shepard should just take off his helmet or have it retract like in the Lost in Space move. They did it when Archangel was unmasked, they could do it for Shepard.

Retractable guns?
Retractable helmets. Get to it BioWare.
