Oh, my, god. I watched that with my boyfriend and a gaggle of other friends. Seriously, it was the worst thing any of us had seen. At one point, a woman gives birth to a handful of worms. Yeah. Halfway through the movie, we wanted to stop watching but we figured since we invested so much time into the damned thing that we might as well see it through to the end.



Curse you David Lynch. Curse you up the butt for that awful piece of cinematography. D:

Ah, Eraserhead. That's one of those David Lynch movies I never got to see. My closest friend is a big fan of his films. Personally, I can't understand most of them. Your description sounds par for the course though. I've learned not to eat anything before watching those movies. XD

TheSpaceKraken, I had forgotten The Cave but yeah, that was truly horrendous. Easily makes it on my top ten worst movies list.
wolfsite, yeah Contact was awful. I had forgotten about that one too. xD Still, Knowing and The Fountain are way worse. *shudders*
Busomjack, Braveheart is a great movie and you smell funny.

Unfortunately, I remembered a couple more terrible movies that I had tried to block from memory, namely Bakshi's The Lord of the Rings movies. There is absolutely nothing redeeming about the animated adaptations of The Lord of the Rings. Trust me on that and don't even bother looking it up on YouTube. You should also try to avoid the cover art if at all possible.
Oh and whatever that movie with the talking baby played by Bruce Willis was. That was nasty.

hmmm...so many truly horrible movies.....it's too hard to stay with one, so here goes: the english patient(one of the few i stopped watching midway through), wall-e (for it's condescending, over-politicized message), the matrix, the fast and the furious, and 95% of the snl movies.

throw in camp rock as well. i watched that with my daughter. what a piece of trash. she didn't like it either. all she cared about was the jonas brothers were in it. :-)

I don't blame you for finding Wall-E condescending.  Modern day New Nersey looks exactly like the dystopia Wall-E takes place in.  It's as if the state you live in was the inspiration for the movie.

Actually there are Five Highlander movies.  The first one was great, the problem was they decided to add onto it even though everything was all tied up in the first movie.  The last one dubbed "The Source" is from what I've heard essentially dragging the dead horse out into the middle of the street after beating it to death then pissing on the remains in front of it's parents.

From what I've heard actually the only reason this move did so well was kids were buying tickets for MTS then sneaking into the Theatre showing Rambo 4.
