I saw this and had to post. Aria's one of the few asari I actually like. I always wondered what a conversation would be like between her and Samara, I imagine a lot of laughter from Aria

Anyways, after my playthroughs of ME2 I've been left slightly dissatisfied. Idk about squadmate or LI, but Aria would make one hell of a boss fight in ME3.

Sadly, she'll probably only gunna be another connection. A friendlier connection.  Omega needs to be accessible though, I suspect when Shepard and co are fugutives on the run yet again, we'll be paying Aria a little visit.

Overall, I like Aria's character. I like Carrie Anne Moss, too, but that's a different story. My only quibble with Aria is when you first meet her and you get the "Don't **** with Aria." line. I like the line, it works well with Aria's character, I just have a slight issue with the delivery. I think the VA tried to "push" the line too hard, and it just came across as a bit forced. Just my opinion, though.

Well I'd put a little force in it too if I were face to face with Shepard, a guy who has no respect for authority, in a city of anarchy. Unlike Jack, who emphasises the venom in her lines, Aria says "don't f*ck with Aria" in a neutral way, like she's stating a fact, adding her name instead of "me" at the end.

The smile really helps, too.

how about some discussion of Aria's markings/make up? All the other Asari seem to have marking more like spots and patches
Do you think they are tattoos or make up?
For some reason they remind me a bit of Turian colony markings, maybe her 'father' was turian?

Ditto! She has quite the figure, too. My male paragon Shep has a thing for the strong, dominant type, so he is just a bit intimidated by/attracted to Aria.

I, too, second this. I had absolutely no strong feelings towards Liara and the asari in general in the first game, and with regards to Liara since she's a 'child' among her people, (106-ish when they can live to be, what, 1000-ish?) I was afraid Chris Hansen would tell me to have a seat over there or something.

I really liked Aria in the sequel, though; and the fact that she's voiced by Carrie Ann Moss made her much better than if she wasn't. If, in ME3 some kind of new conflict destabilizes Omega, I would really enjoy seeing Aria as a squadmate, at the very least, if not a love interest.

There's an eight page mini story that's been added to the comic Redemption titled Incursion featuring Aria and why she does not like the Collectors.

All in all since it's so short it doesn't give us a whole lot of new insight into Aria but it does let us see her in action.

Same here! She's a real badass and doesn't act like a prostitute (unlike most asari).

She gained extra respect from he after reading the Retribution novel, makes me hope we'll see more of her in ME3. If only she didn't have such an expensive voice actress! But money didn't stop Bioware from throwing Martin Sheen at us every twenty minutes, so...

i do hope Shep finds out what really happened to Aria's daughter and tells her..and then...maybe we get Aria to help more then just on Omega...she may not be a good person(debatable really,what is good ?) but she kicks ass even if by only talking..then again there is that comic  that proves she can take care of business herself

Aria is indeed a good person.

-She keeps order (to some degree) on an otherwise lawless station, this has the side effect of saving lives from the plague and the vorcha.

-She spared Patriarch's life, and when he was in trouble, she looked out for him.

-She gave Shepard a cache of goods.



She is capable of doing good, and she looks out for her "friends", even if she does have a bit of an attitude. However about the attitude:

This just makes her all the more interesting. And attractive. And the profanity just makes her all the hotter.

I like Aria too. (She is one of the few Asari I actually like.) I like her concept design, her strong personality, and that she doesn’t hit on Commander Shepard. Plus when she said, “Don’t **** with Aria”, that was pretty powerful.
