They really do need their own forum, just so the quantity of them doesn't bother people who don't care about them at all as long as they don't have to wade through all the crap.

Bother? You guys are the ones waving all the insults at us, i sure am not "bothering" any of your discussions.

Actually you are making discussion of anything not related to the love and affection of certain NPC's almost impossible.  The build forum used to have good information about how to play the classes in different ways and what might be interesting to try.  Now all you see is a MASS of "I SUPPORT" threads and yes that does bother the people who used to post here and are tying to look for information.

Are you doing it out of meanness--NO, but just from the sheer volume you and everyone else that was forcably moved here are being a bother to those of us who posted here pre-move.  Sorry you don't like it but it is fact.   It is sort of like a neighbor with a really big stereo system, blasting it at top volume.  The music may not be bad in itself, but the amount is an issue.

The build forum still has all that information, you just need to click a few more times to access it than you needed to before.

Believe me, making 3 to 5 topics a day on this forum complaining about topics that don't pertain to strategy being on this forum isn't doing you any good. People QQed for months on the story forum to get character threads their own subforum, so the mods responded by ignoring all the good ideas and moving them here where they're even more out of place.

Don't expect that subforum to come any time soon, especially now that they've already just acted but not the way we wanted.

This, there is already alot of useful info about different classes and builds, in fact someone made a thread listing all those different topics. And the simple solution to keep that info is just post more.

I could probably use some of that info once i go onto my insanity run.

I don't even know why there are these "Character support threads." The Dragon Age board doesn't have any, and when I first visited the Mass Effect board the first thing I thought was "What the **** is up with this?"

They should all be locked. Problem solved.

Really hope that was sarcasm.:pinched: But that would be one way of doing it.

I'm really hoping Bioware will do this.

I have no problem with the character support threads in and of themselves. They are, however, somewhat annoying, since I personally have no interest in their content, and they do spam up the front page of this forum. Yes, I can simply scroll down past the topics to find the information that I come to this forum for, but the topics I want to read are harder to find in and amongst the support threads. Would it kill me if the support threads stayed in this forum? No, I'd be just fine, and I could find what I want to still relatively easily. It is a bit more annoying now, and I'd prefer the support threads be given their own sub-forum (Or moved to their own groups where people can join and post discussions, but that'll never happen.)

Basically, I'd like to see the support threads gone from this forum, but I won't complain overmuch that they're here.

More like we were forcibly moved by the government to live next to some pyshco old man with a hatchet and a shotgun who is prejudice against character threads.

Suggestions for the forum itself should be posted to the Social.bioware.com Site Help forum. Thank you.

End of line.
