I'm at the very start of awakening and i killed the 3 small ones that you run into at the start. I went through the conversation and continued into the castle but there are no darkspawn comming at me at in the courtyard at all. The first gate you are supposed to pass through at the start doesn't open but i can still pass through it like a ghost.

Has this occured with anyone else or is there a patch i can download?

same thing is happening to me. Are you on the PC? Do you have mods loaded?
