Alright its quite simple and requires not master brain or knowledge to do this

go to the BioWare Folder in your documents
C:\\\\Users\\\\Rick\\\\Documents\\\\BioWare\\\\Dragon Age\\\\Settings

Look for the AddIns.xml file and open it with NotePad
BEFORE DOING THIS COPY AND PASTE THE XML FILE INTO ANOTHER FOLDER INCASE IT GOES WRONG.
(so you dont have to reinstall the entire thing but just have to replace the xml file with a working one.)

now hit ctrl + f and earch for Auth

if you experience this problem you will see this RequiresAuthorization="1">
replace the 1 with a 0 and go on to the next one till you replaced all of these 1s with 0s
from this RequiresAuthorization="1"> to this RequiresAuthorization="0">
but ONLY do this in the line of RequiresAuthorization="1"> (i did it to 3 lines)
after doing so simply safe the files (ctrl +S) and enjoy your DLC.
DO NOT REPLACE ANYTHING ELSE WITH ANYTHING.

ever since ive had no trouble with ''unauthorized'' DLC.

let me know if it also works for others

Regards

It truly works! Before this, I had to start the game several times until the DLC was getting authorized.
Thanks a lot!

Not really a solution. This is kinda against regulations too.

It 1/2 worked for me. I can play on an account I have never used if I want to start a new game but on my actual account **that I purchased my DLC under** it still says I am unauthorized.

becuase I have not seen a solution posted elsewhere I will post mine here.

This is directly from EA online chat service and more importantly... it worked for me!  :)

1. Shut down Dragon Age: Origins
2. In Windows, press the 'Start' button and select 'Run'  <<< or hold the "windows" key and press 'R'
3. In the command line type 'net stop DAUpdaterSvc' <<< without the singlequotes
4. Navigate to 'My Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\Settings' and delete 'Manifest.xml' and 'Offers.xml'and 'addins.xml'
5. Navigate to 'My Documents\\Bioware\\Dragon Age' and delete the 'Offers' folder
6. Navigate to 'C:\\Documents and Settings\\All Users\\Application Data\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\' and delete the 'DAUpdater' folder

^^^^   note to vista and 7 users...it will be in C:\\Program Data\\Bioware\\Dragon Age\\DAUpdater  ^^^^

7. Navigate to 'C:\\My Documents\\Bioware\\Dragon Age\\' and delete the 'AddIns' folder
8. In the command line type 'net start DAUpdaterSvc'  <<< again without the singlequotes
9. Restart Dragon Age: origins and log in

I hope this helps anybody else that comes across the "unauthorized " problem - it did work for me  :)
