According to Fox News circa 2008, Asari are Xenomorphs.

That means the asari baby would burst out of Commander Shepard's chest.

Now, I know you think you were being witty, but you weren't.
Firstly, Da Vinci did not invent the helicopter, the Chinese did. Quite a bit earlier than Da Vinci, as it happens.
Secondly, it is very possible that evolution can not occur anywhere else in the universe given we don't even know what it was that caused organic matter to begin to replicate. Unless, of course, you're privy to a testable hypothesis of abiogensis that the scientific community is not.
Thirdly, space shuttles are science fiction. They were written about before the first space shuttles were created, and they were science fiction because they were grounded on real science.
Finally, nothing you've written explains travelling faster than C.

Science: Learn it.

you're saying, light does not exist. it doesn't travel at light speed, being this thing called light. gravity isn't real. the sun does revolve around the earth?

Chinese people are the first to create fireworks and use gunpowder and stuff.

Some people claim Fox News is full of idiot consevatives that have no idea what the hell they're saying.

I personally believe that they are the most skilled trolls this side of Faschism.

6. The Helicopter Rotor and the Propeller: China, Forth Century AD.
By fourth century AD a common toy in China was the helicopter top,
called
the 'bamboo dragonfly'. The top was an axis with a cord wound round it,
and with blades sticking out from the axis and set at an angle. One
pulled
the cord, and the top went climbing in the air. Sir George Cayley, the
father of modern aeronautics, studied the Chinese helicopter top in
1809.
The helicopter top in China led to nothing but amusement and pleasure,
but fourteen hundred years later it was to be one of the key elements in
the birth of modern aeronautics in the West.

Secondly, Science-fiction is, as I've stated a number of times, fiction based on factual science. Space shuttles are science fiction because they were originally concieved of in tales of fiction. They exist because the science behind them was solid. If the science behind them was flawed they would be fantasy.

Finally, you've demonstrated you don't understand what "C" is. C is the maximum speed light travels in a vaccum. Your bull**** about 'shields' and 'sub-atomic' particles demonstrates you don't understand the link between mass, velocity, and the sorts of numbers involved at light speed.

Don't ask me where he got that from. It's a straw man argument he's made because I called him out on his psuedo-science, and his inability to grasp basic genre.

So, OP discovers asari have holes, superimposed attempts to divine if asari can have sex with just about everything and are related to everyone, and then the thread turns into a discussion about FTL, imagination, and questioning people's scientific credibility.

Now, the reasons why I turned down DM'ing becomes clearer.

Maybe she complains about sand in her eyes?

That would even be more logical because it´s unlikely a suit that allows being in Outer Space would let sand in......

What conversation? That she has a hole, proving she's like a human woman?

That was two pages back. Get with the times. It's about using your imagination to discern scientifically if her hole can travel in FTL speeds using real-life physics.

Yeah, but I'm sure it was included more for humor than for actual sense.

A lot of the arguments in here are all "OMG but that's not logical," but most of it is done for convenience, I think. Or for humor. "English" lip movements make sense so people don't say "Wow, this game is garbage, the lip syncing is off." Or aliens using variations of human expressions. It's most likely done so they don't alienate (no pun intended) the player, or also for humor since half the time, the sayings are incorrect.

But I do believe asari are monogendered. For pretty much all the reasons stated before. They look female, they use female terminology (Matriarchs, Maidens, daughters, etc), the Codex says they're female...

Of course. Because Asari are hot, and Liara is by far the hottest. She is so hot she burns a hole into space through which she can move, thus being able to travel 1000000 lightyears with a single step.

Right. Man landing on the moon or wanting to was science fiction, it only became science fact once they've actually landed on the moon, right?... and chinese people invented the first helicopter... sure. Chinese people are the first inventors of the mars rover too right (wait that's sci fi, us trying to explore mars is complete science fantasy)? Humanity will never accomplish the creation of robots right, or have advanced technology with Artificial Intelligence (even though computer science, and computer programming exist... and had been creating mechanical stuff over hundreds of years probably)? Chinese people were the first who ever designed a car (horseless chariot), right (a car? impossible!? there's no such thing, that's completely SciFi!!)? Or was it some german guy of the16th century in europe?

and explain the science behind everything being flawed to then being proven factual later somehow (I think that's called a theory, a debatable issue that may or may not be accepted as a law or fact). was galileo flawed? Isaac Newton? Einstein?

:unsure:Sci Fi is merely theoretical, conceptual, or hypothetical idea that's up for constant experimentation. Gravity too was once sci fi (imaginary), aswell as the idea of the Earth revolving around the sun (science fiction), and that the idea of Earth being flat.

WHAT?! Fascism is far worst than Communism (especially N A Z I Fascism), and I am not a ****ing communist (and damn sure aswell isn't a Fascist). I'd be more concerned over some Vietnam 2.0+Pearl Harbor 2.0 (event than falsely blaming Russians or Wolverines what ever you call them.especially with this place called North Korea, which is like directly attached to a bigger place called China)

Just because you want to worship the almighty Papa Smurf and Santa Klaus or Hitler, and I happen to not care about that type of thing... doesn't make me any less of a considerate human being of humanity other than you or anyone else.

it's the wolverines... Dumb redneck american nerds for the win... wow! ****ing stupid. Disregard the angry North Korean asians who're in North Korea by the way, nothing to be concerned about (completely forget about Iran saying **** like let's kill the jews, and blow up earth)...

Is it America's fault that BP's oil is spewing out ruining our water? Or it is the Euro people who have a history of fascism, the British's (British Petroleum)? I am so godless for that comment.:(
*prays to the almighty papa smurf* please tell those british people to fix their **** that they have over here in our country... amen. Or else some idiot is going to blame the russians, black people, or someone like me.

Doesn't stop BioWare from steadfastly denying that they're an all-female race. I remember Casey always saying that there never were any lesbian relationships in ME1, and saying Liara isn't female. Lol, look at your own codex guys.

right, BioWare's highly entertaining production of a interesting in-game culture is fascinating... a Monogengered race that isn't asexual... nice (a race of lesbians).

dude the entertaining character, Commander Shepard approves...

Casey screwed up. Either he didin't know the definitions of the words he was using, or he was trying to avoid some backlash, and lying at the time. I still think they're all female. I mean the whole point of the race was to serve as the "hot green alien chicks." You can't say that, and then say, oh they're not female. And yeah, the codex. I mean, someobdy sat down and wrote all that. And wrote that they're an all-female race.

But some people still cling to Casey's words and use them to say that the asari aren't female.

I was thinking about that, but the melding generally has to be consentual, and there's the language barrier coming into play.

Well, if the council races have been getting along, presumabley also with translators, and the humans only cam einto play a few decades ago, I guess that could be enough time to learn the human language. I mean, the First Contact war probably suffered from some language barriers as well. Both the turians and the humans could have been studying the language of each other, kind of like code breakers. This way, they could understand what the supposed enemy was doing.

They both could have learned enough to make some basic contact, and from there, an updated translater could have been made. Maybe. This is one of those things that nobody would probably know unless it was covered in the next game, or in a book (I haven't read them, so I could be way off).
