Although I doubt anyone (lest of all EA/BioWare) will care, but today I traded in my xbox360 copies of both Dragon Age and Awakenings. Additionally, I deleted the DLC content (which is good in a way, since I only have the old 20g pro console - and I'm running outta space!).

I'm sorta in shock atm though. I'm wondering 'did I do the right thing?' and 'will I regret this?' Probably... but at the moment I don't believe BioWare deserves my trust in regards to Dragon Age.

You know, I'm not even sure why I typed this up, maybe it's some form of 'therapy'?

Buy future Bioware games used a few months after release. That will save you money while denying Bioware/EA profits, unless you absolutely have to buy another cerberus network... Still it will be cheaper than buying the game new.

Also other customers will have playtested the game and posted bugs to various forums, so you know whether it's another bugfest or not.

I didn't even buy awakening after the joke of a "patch" they released prior to it, I saw there were no real fixes for anything substantial, plus the price already had me not thinking it was worth it. Since then I have not bought any more dlc for this game and will continue not to support them in any way until they actually fix this game, I won't buy any future games unless it's used where the store gets the profit, not these greedy as f*ck companies that could care less about supporting their game in favor of the few extra dollars they save not bothering to fix anything.

Yup, saw it coming the second I heard about the takeover. Posted Image
Bioware is only Bioware in name, everything else is EA right down to the sh*tty, non-existant support, the real Bioware died when EA bought them.

To be fair though, the actual story experience of Awakening was a lot of fun, but the technical issues is what really irritated me.

To bring out DLC and then not support it (properly) come the expansion was just plain stupid. I can understand their intent: "The gear will be replaced soon enough anyway!" but with that sort of logic they may as well not of let you import your weapons/armour from Dragon Age itself.

I don't think corporate EA has much to do with it, I just don't think Dragon Age gains as much importance from members outside its core development team as compared to The Old Republic or the Mass Effect team(s).
