Funily enough, I can't bring myself to do the reverse: I can't side with Samara over Morinth, even if I am a Paragon: Samara's too code bound, and anything I do (paragon or not) that conflicts with that code will eventually lead her to have to get me, one of these days.

Plus, she kills more people than Morinth anyway, so in terms of numbers I'm giving the galaxy a better deal.

How will it eventually lead to her getting you? The chances that you will bump into her again are soooooo low (damn big universe) especially considering she almost never leaves Asari space.

Unless of course you ever go to Ilium, which has some magical ability to draw in any and everyone who knows Shepard and cram them into a square Kilometre.

And its not about quantity but quality. :D

Hmm that's interesting about Kenn - I always thought that Harrot shutting him down would leave him penniless and stranded. That's definitely not the case, then?

If you speak to Harrot, about Kenn, you have the option to stroke Harrot's ego, and tell him that he should just buy out Kenn; as a sickly kid like Kenn is no match for a businessman like Harrot.  Meaning Harrot can purchase Kenn's store, thus eliminating the competition. Harrot confides in you that he never considered purchasing Kenn's store, because on Omeaga, no merchant would ever sell their store to another, no matter how pressured. Harrot then tells you he was thinking of expanding, and that he will buy Kenn out.  This gives Kenn the money he needs to get off of Omega.

I suppose that is possible, but at my most Renegon, I don't think I have done anything that woould cause Samara to come after me later. Also, she swore an oath that my morals are her morals. She would only come after me later if I made he do something that was exceptionally  heinous.

Morinth, on the other hand, is a serial rapist and murderer. She uses Dominate, like some club scum use 'roofies', forces Asari sex on her victims, burns out their nervous systems and minds, and moves on to the next victim.
She enjoys the 'hunt' and tells you so, often, when you tour her apartment,  looking at her trophies; she is a sexual predator, who cannot stop killing.  So why would I expose my crew to someone who cannot control her sado-sexual appetitie?  An appetite that leads to death?  I guess that is the difference between Renegon, and Renegade. My Renegon Shep cares about her crew, and would not willingly expose them to a dangerous parasite like Morinth.   I guess if I were playing a pure Renegade, it might be easier to feed my crew to Morinth, and then turn her over to the Illusive Man, when the mission is over.

I picked Morinth once, just for ****s and giggles, and to get her dominate power. Other than that, as far as gameplay is concerned, she's just like Samara. I also wanted to sleep with her, but I saw on You Tube what happens if you do. (not recommended). From a purely roleplaying aspect, recruiting her is a bad idea and tatically unwise (she's an unknown factor, at least Samara is bound by her code).

I'm not really sure that's a valid metric for Commander 'And You Shall Know Me By The Trail Of Corpses' Shepard to judge people on.

According to that logic, recruiting Jack would also be unwise.

Just watching the girl´s videos made me hate Morinth more than batarian slavers (after "I remember me" Torfan feels justified) so I´ll never save her. Her look when you resist Dominate is also priceless with extra points if romancing Liara.

My 4 big choices in ME 2:

1) Destroy the collector base. There's just no reason to keep it in the end.

2) Hand over evidence against Rael'Zorah. Just can't do that to Tali.

3) I never hand Legion over to Cerberus.

4) The hardest decision for me in game: Whether or not to destroy the Heretic station or reprogram them. Do you make Legion and the Geth stronger after all the heretics you've killed? Or do you weaken the geth overall because reprograming would be cruel and it may spare many Quarian lives. I can't wait to see what ME 3 will do with this decision.

Selling Legion to Cerberus.

Keeping the Collector Base.

Choosing Monrith over Samara.

That's all I have for now.

Can't let the Council die.
Can't be pro-human.
Can't give up Legion.
Can't use evidence to clear Tali's name.

Can't not romance Tali. I'm a colossal softie.

Can´t romance Tali. She just felt too much as a little sister figure in ME1 to see her as love interest.

Can´t romance Jack. Might help her but I would feel I´m abusing her, her mind is just too damaged.

Recruiting Jack IS unwise from the information you're given prior to meeting her. If I were actually Shepard, I would have skipped that dossier entirely.

One of the hardest decisions for me in ME2 was which advice to give the quarians about colonizing a new world or reclaiming the homeworld. I think that finding a new world might be more strategically sound in terms of war and needing as many allies as possible alive when facing the Reapers in ME3. When Tali says "for anyone alive now to watch a sunset without a mask, we have to take back our homeworld" and says it's the difference between 60 years and 600 (due to immune system acclimatization factors), what could I say to that? Her emotion there was heartbreaking.

I can't ever say or do anything mean to Tali even on my most renegade character. It's just impossible.

I didn't realize there was an option NOT to kill Sidonis. For that matter, why would anyone NOT want him to die?

Because some people want him to suffer. If you talk to him, you realize he is now in a living hell. Killing him would be making him a favor, actually.

He says it himself, that all he sees are their faces, if you keep moving to block Garrus' shot while talking to him. I listened to his story then talked to Garrus until he decided to let him go. He turns himself in later so that achieves, in a sense, the outcome that my Shepard intended when trying to take Dr. Heart/Saleon in back in 2183.
