Well it is over for my sister, and she is never going to play DA ever again as it seems.
She did very well, and won the Landsmeet, and had Anora's support, lied to her and had her whole plan laid out to be the queen. However it went quickly down hill near the end. Since she has watched Law and Order for 10 years she totally owned Loghain and then dueled him herself.
She won and was all like :, then however Alistair said "KILL HIM", making her go
. Then Riordian, who my sister thought was smexy wanted him to be a warden and Alistair flipped out and my sister then went
. Luckily she hardened him, but with his whole rant she just lost it, since she will not kill a defenseless person in cold blood, when she relized Alistair would however she went all:
. So in short Loghain lived, Alistair married Anora, and she called him a name later at Arl Eamon's Estate.
When she got told the news about what happens in the killing of the archdemon she practically lost it at everyone and got really cheesed. But not as much as when Morrigan offered the DR, to which she went:
and told Morrigan to GTFO. Got to the archdemon and did better than I did my first time, and sent Loghain off to his end, and all she said was "Wow he was so much cooler than anyone else in the party, wish I could have had him earlier." At the coronation she comforted Anora, and went to repair the grey wardens, and brought Zevran and Leliana along too. However she again was snotty to Alistair and wow was he rude to her.
After getting the credits she then got up and said she is not playing ever again, and that she hates Alistair, Morrigan, and wants BIoware to go die in a fire. So she really got cheesed and now I am trying to get her to start Awakening, so far she wont even talk to me about it though.

The point of roleplaying is to get immersed in a fictional world, that's part of the fun. When discussing the world or the characters people can either argue from a metagaming perspective or a roleplaying perspective, the latter will sound as if you are talking about a real person. Don't be confused, people are still aware he's not real.Dalira Montanti wrote...
why do people talk about Alistair as though he is a real person o.O
You don't roleplay a lot, do you? Or write fanfiction, maybe?Dalira Montanti wrote...
dont get me wrong I like his profile but never spoken about him as
though he was real in a sence
Technically possible, but a roleplaying desaster.Dalira Montanti wrote...

Though I feel sorry for your sister. Alistair's obsession with Loghain was a rude surprise to my first pc, too. I mean, Al even acknowledges way back in Ostager that grey wardens do whatever it takes to defeat a Blight. But my first pc was male DN, so it was a lot less shocking than for a love interest. And I happily indulged Morrigan with the DR. Though as has been noted elsewhere, it's strange she gains 20 lbs when she disrobes.
And then my second pc made the mistake of telling Anora that Loghain needed to die, so I got another rude surprise!

My first pc intended to see Loghain dead, too, until he heard the arguments against - Loghain is a good general (and not just years ago - the grapevine reveals he is winning the civil war); better 4 wardens than 3; the joining could kill him anyway; and once a warden, always a warden. I expected Alistair to detest the decision but desert? No, I never saw that coming. But then I wouldn't claim to be the most perceptive warden. I also failed to anticipate Anora's actions if you tell her you intend to kill her father...errant_knight wrote...
I'm always a little baffled when people are surprised by Alistair's reaction to sparing Loghain. He tells you repeatedly how he feels about bringing him to justice--and in a medieval setting, that means dead.He also tells you that being a warden is the greatest honor he can imagine, so there's no way he'd find it an acceptable choice for Loghain.

My sister is sixteen and cant stand sad endings, if they start to happen in a movie she turns it off. My other sister jumped on the Zevran bandwagon cause he was cute, the same height as her elf mage, and sounded like Antonio Banderas. Which he does.
My sister told me that she thinks Zev is awsome and imagines him looking like this.

Its AListair all the way, Gadzooks, he battles, inferiority complexes, no sense of belonging or home, except for the grey wardens and no hope of love until he loves the GW! As for Loghain, not to bash anyones opinions, but i view him as a war hero that has gone insane, His view for what would save his country is so skewed its become more harmful than helpful. No one can forgive those insane rulers in our human history that killed and used people like they were lil more than clods of dirt! He cannot be forgiven war crimes, regicide, slavery, assassination and torture, He knew of Howes takeover of the couslands BEFORE ostager, Eamon was poisoned before.... there is no way I believe that he did not know what all his right hand was doing, the hiring Of Zev himself proves that.
No way , I let him live once for achievement but no way I can personally intrisinically forgive such gross disassociation with the common folk, or the country. Abuse can never be justified!
LOL anyways I AM an AListair fangirl AND proud! his voice melts my knees! now if only my hubby could imitate him LOL
