Hey all, I have a favour too ask of you.  I recieved my Dead Space Aegis 7 litho today and on 2 places on the litho there are white dots.  I'm guessing that their not supposed to be there so I was wondering if anyone who bought the litho can take a quick look at theirs and compare please.  Be advised my shots are pretty bad and I may need too take better ones but you can see the dots.

First, middle right side of the litho.  You can see dots on the buidings, cranes and in the sky.

P.S. I think its a problem with the printer they're using. I saw a citadel one that had the same blue 'streaks' on ebay as well. See if you can get an exchange

Mine is like this as well dan though upon close inspection I wonder if it's just dirty and could be wiped off? not sure what you could use to try cleaning it without damaging it if this is the case though. If you rub your hands over it you can actually feel the texture (atleast on mine) so i don't think it's an error in the print itself


Edit: a very lightly dampened cloth seems to clear away the majority of the tiny spots though not all and any larger effected area doesn't seem to be helped much mine has a couple of sopts I could only call smudges for lack of a better description

Well, it's still early here - and also in the west. (But thank you, tenny, your post really lightened me up after an awful day. It's cute.) Just half past 8 a.m. in Denver. So... I'd say "go and play some Civilization" to spend the time but you're probably not the type for "only one more round... only one more".

^its a pleasure miss, nice to know i lighten up someones day around here.
i just want to know a eta before i go to bed. I'll be less worried. but i guess after last weekend, its best to give us accurate info to avoid any mishaps.

i don't play civilization. I'm more of a coach. i strategize and tell my brother what to do in games. LOL( "lure-focus, anti-air!!! watch out, his going to random super you now!!!) ah i'm a lazy gamer XD

I figured I'd just ask here before I do anything because the Jack litho had a couple white spots that looked weird too me but their supposed too be there.  Since the 2 groups of white dots spots are grouped real nice on my Aegis7 and are only found in those 2 spots, it had me wondering if their supposed too be there.

When I opened mine it was covered in hair thin plastic or foam or glue strings all no longer then an inch.  That I was able to brush off lighty but then I seen the dots.  It makes me wonder if the litho was placed upside down on a table or something at some point and was finely scrached as a result.  Even on the white perimeter of the litho there are alot of glossy or fine marks on it.

Thanks for the replies/messages.  I think I'll try cleaning it again and see what happens.

Thanks for the update Jed, looking forward to when I get the Wards litho, very Blade Runner esque (and I nerd-rage for Blade Runner). Any idea when we can expect the pre-sale to go up tomorrow? (in order to prevent people from absusing the F5 key on their computers sending their PCs into therapy, LOL).

My Litho does not have these white spots that yours has.  i would say its a bad print, or foreign matter on it

Aww Tenny...  Maybe try to take a nap that afternoon?  It sometimes helps me when I'm staying up late (or rather...causes insomnia so I have to stay up late...)

It's going to be right on lunchtime for me so I might be able to slip out of the dungeon and off to the library to grab me one this time.  Thank you again Jedi for the heads up.  After that Normandy one comes out I'm going to have to cease and desist for a long time on the lithos...I have spent well past my budget this month and it is only going to get worse with these two ME lithos...

can't find any of those lithos on ebay right now. minuteman went for about 160 a week ago. citadel one went for $200+ just this weekend. prices are getting ridiculous.
