Meh, I got my Jack lithograph on eBay (I got in late, what can I say). I got it at a really decent price, and it arrived much faster than XPO would have shipped it. Selling at $100+ is a bit extreme, but most of the sellers made huge losses on the Collectors lithograph, some selling as low as $5. Also, some eBay sellers sell the lithographs framed. My local framing shop's standard price for a decent frame of 24x18" is £60 (obviously you haggle a bit). So if you include the frame in the price, it starts to close to price gap (not all are framed obviously).

It's just business, I guess. Supply and demand. Some stores sell coca cola at £0.50 for a can, some sell at £1.10. They all get it at similarly low prices.

There should probably be a cap on how many people can buy of each one, 5 possibly. But honestly here, if Treehouse set the price for them at $50, they would still sell out. Hell, if they set it at $75, they would still sell out, if not as quickly.

Also, I guess for some people the # is important. They will pay more to be guaranteed a low one.

Just my thoughts, accept them, reject them. It doesn't matter :P

I've talked to Jedi about a litho limit and he says he will talk with the Bioware guys this week at Comic Con as he is having dinner with them. I'll update you guys if I find out anything more.

What I find amazing about the whole buying multiple copies for selling, is they turn up on ebay for $150 when they haven't even sold out at the Bioware store yet.

Yes, the Normandy litho looks very cool. The only other two I have purchased so far were the citadel and illusive man. I get the same pop from the Normandy litho, very distinctively "Mass Effect" Can't wait for it to be released. I was hoping for a reaper lithograph, something with some deeper reds in it. Omega station had the right color scene, I just didn't find it that interesting.

There's a 20% off sale for orders $60 or more on the bioware store website, good now through July 25th. Code is COMIC-CON. They've also increased the shipping cost for lithos so I'm guessing they're now going to a closed box.

Probably yes, Mr. Seigle announced it to be ready at the time the new litho is released.

normandy won't come out until at least end of next week so you won't get the discount. Also you would need to get 2 lithos and something else cause its only 29.99 so you're .02 cents off

Holy ****....30 USD to ship lithos now? I opened the first of four packages I received yesterday and everything was fine. Why can't Bioware offer two shipping options with the caveat that if you use the cheaper one and it gets damaged, tough luck?

There are two methods, that is to Germany though. On a trial run it was only one methode for at least three (3) lithos, 50 USD USPS. For two or less there are two methods: 39 USD for USPS and 35 for XPO. A single litho costs 30 via USPS and 19.50 via XPO.

Edit: this isn't a complaint, it's for information only

I am in Canada. Try adding five lithos to an order. 30 dollar shipping. Same with the Visceral store. Last time I order from Bioware, this is insane. Only good thing about it is that for the next 3 days, if you order five, you can basically get them shipped to you in Canada for about five bucks after the 20% of. Utterly ridiculous.

22.69 to order 5 lithographs now. I suppose that's a bit more reasonable. Would still have loved 13.00 with no chance of a replacement if the lithos got damaged though. Thanks Jedi.

I'm sure as they are bought by people, they will slowly become more valuable.

Normandy Lithograph Update - The release date now looks to be early August. I'll update when I know more, but the Lithograph will not be ready this month.

Hmm, as we've already discussed an order limit would be nearly pointless since it would be easy to bypass any kind of IP/account limits.

I may pick up some stuff while the sale on, but I wish it would last another day since I just got back an hour ago from a trip.

Got my Dead Space Advanced Suit litho today and the artist signed it in an unfortunate way. He put the numbers at the extreme bottom right corner and then signed the litho half on the image. So you have the sig on the bottom right partially on the image and the numbers way out on the corner. How are you supposed too frame it now? You would have to tape the litho too a larger mat board then have the frame on the matte which would look stupid.

I use frameless frames atm, but I am thinking about moving to a canvas style display like splined canvas. This way, the whole piece is visible.

Actually I could make it work but it would still look ackward/weird since you would have to extend the matte cut too the extreme bottom of the litho. If you did a real precise cut of the matte you could still do it with the matte on top of the litho, just barely. Just unfortunate that the guy signed it that way.   I framed my first litho in a specific way and would want too match that if I ever framed this one but there are other options like you mentioned.

I wouldn't want to do a canvas mount, you would have to atleast tape it right?  How is it done that way? With the way I framed my Jack its held in place by pressure so that no adhesive or anything that could damage the print is used.   Then I could take it out at any time and its like I never framed it.  You could use that "museum" canvas tape thats guaranteed to come off without damaging the item but I just don't trust anything like that.
