Do they usually announce ahead of time when they're going to be on sale, or is there not really any notice?

Edit: I see that last time they gave a day's notice on their facebook feed

keep your eye on this forum. biowarestorejedi usually posts here a day or so in advance. There's also going to be 500 Normandy's so don't worry too much if you're a bit late.

Goody goody. I'm relatively new to the litho club, so have they done presales before?

I wonder if that means they'll be a cap at one per customer address/credit card number to serve as many fans as possible before the profiteers start buying them up by the dozen to flip them on E-Bay.

If so, more power to Bioware and the store team

I've joined since the last batch and from that experience it pre-sales and then ships sometime during the next week. Also there will be no cap but Jed has told me they will monitor it and if someone orders an obscene amount, they will cap the buyer.

Thx for saying it out loud. I've favored this idea for a long time but didn't dare to write it down openly.

From my past experiences, some of my frequented shops tended to take a single order per customer during pre-order for strictly limited items and sold the rest in open quantities after the official start. They only took several orders for pre-order-only stuff.
It's not a very popular idea, though, because of additional shipping costs for friends and trade and so on. (Imho, if you want something really limited, it's either save up a bunch of money and go with any additional costs or just screw it. What shall I say? It worked for me.)

@Jeff: no content in your post?

I always buy extra for friends; either to save on shipping, or to give as gifts, so I am not a fan of the one-per cap. I think five is a good maximum, there is really no reason to buy more than that.

Good news on the presale ^_^

On the ebay note....the Dead Space lithos have finally made their debut! They are all around $80 or best offer. That was actually faster than I imagined.

Any chance of getting an estimated time of this pre-sale?

Thanks to my non-US timezone, I was asleep when the last lot of lithos were released... :P

Can anyone give me an idea on shipping costs? Specifically to Europe (Ireland).

I'm quite interested in the Normandy litho and I'm curious how much it'll set me back in total

I can see a cap of 3-5 per customer being reasonable.  I'd agree with you, as I'd really have to challenge the honestly of someone who was buying more than 5 at once more for "friends."  I'd just hate to see these all get gobbled up in a few seconds up by people looking to make a quick buck before even the die hard fans get a shot.

I really like my Dead Space lithos, I am kind of disappointed they aren't selling well. It is a series with a ton of great litho possibilities. Too bad they massively over-printed and will now not want to do any more.

^ as said before Jed will post here giving and timeframe of when and will probably post here again when its up. to check shipping costs, just go through the process of buying a litho but don't checkout. Should be around $30 i guess

Oh and I'm not pre-ordering anything on FRIDAY THE 13TH. I'll wait a day. If I don't, the lithograph will probably arrive to me laced with anthrax. Or bent.

It's not tomorrow. I love any 13th, no matter the month. 'Nuff said.
