I have to say, that if one of the new Lithos is this one I'm really liking the rich blue hulk of the ship in stark contrast to the pinkish dusk or dawn glow of the backdrop.  I think its very eyecatching and would make a great talking point.  At least, the colours look much better than the wallpaper IMO.

On the point about it not being used in the Mass Effect game yet, I don't think that's a bad thing.  I simply like it for the concept and my imagination can do the rest with fitting it into the universe somewhere. But that's definitely not to say I don't think it shouldn't be used in some DLC or even in ME3. In fact, I would like that very much.  Perhaps Dsurian is right... it's a ship building yard back on earth?  I'm sure ready for a trip back there in Mass Effect 3!  Er...sorry... I digress. ;)

...looks like a look at the front of the
club on Omega - not sure though. @Quazilogic - nice find, but kinda a
let down...was hoping for some actual info on wtf the "human shipyard"
one is...though it did look pretty sexy on the wall.

I was hoping to find something too and that's why I started my little googling tour and came across the vid.  If it does get put into a Litho hopefully the title given will just be another clue...

mine are also still pending fulfillment but that's not unusual the bioware store has always had a long processing time every since my very first order with them. I've never had a problem getting what i've ordered though so i'm not worried

ok this might sound stupid but does anyone else think that ship in the "yard" looks a lot like the gernsback but from the other side.... i mean if you mirror the image it looks very similar to me

Thats exactly what i dont get - how could it possibly be a good talking point if you dont know what to talk about?  Sure, you can surmise that its human, possibly back on Earth, and they're creating a larger spacecraft - but exactly how much are you willing to make up for the sake of having some conversation with someone whos interested in it...?

Yeah - but really, how dissimilar would the two ships be?  10 years of spacecraft evolution (which really, given the modern technology planetside, they really didnt think that through)  - and it might not be the same type (the Gernsback was a 'frigate' supposedly - while I'm thinking the ship in that picture is more along the lines of a dreadnought)...but yeah, who knows...all i know is that neither looks like anything we've seen in-game so far (that would make sense for the Gernsback, not so much for the other...)

might the ship in question have something to do with Overlord DLC that is coming out soon? Its a possibility since no one seems to know where its from./ or a future DLC/ Expansion...

Hmmm... might this be the quarian fleet possibly scouting for their new home world? Notice the ships in the background. And the figures are obviously salvaging that ship. Thoughts?

i actually don't like these 2 for a lithograph. its flat, uninteresting to me. then added i have no real attachment to these ships/ports (hey is that a round thing from stargate?!)

I must've been skimming way too fast before because I only just saw that gem now. Since you mentioned it and I looked for it, it does look like there's a half buried stargate there haha.

As was again reiterated by moot in his recently posted TED talk, never underestimate the determination and resourcefulness of an internet community B), though quazi gets most, if not all, of the credit for actually digging up the video.

Nah, all the Quarian ships look kinda tadpole-like:Image IPB

Interesting, Erik... I personally would never buy them if I wasn't going to display them in my room. Are you planning to sell them later or something?

I wish I could show them off, but I either have the funds to buy the lithos or the frame. Since the lithos are limited I am buying them and the the frames will come later. Also, 12+ lithos from just ME2 in my room would look a bit strange.

As for other lithos including the shipyard picture, I also like non-storyline related concept art because it lets you fill in the story (at least until some DLC or something comes out). Why is that so bad? Some of m favorite concepts from games are the ones that are never mentioned, but just show what the devs were thinking. I actually probably prefer to generate my own background rather than be provided with it, as quazilogic  mentioned.

I always thought that this was the location of Jacob's loyalty mission. Am I wrong?

EDIT: Yep, I'm wrong. Looking closer at the wallpaper, I now see the many ships in the background.

Truth be told, I had seen the video a long time ago and wondered about those lithographs but didn't think too much of it then. I figured if they were I had probably missed out on them since I didn't check in for a long time after the Illium.

Now, I just want to know how long are we going to be waiting for new lithos again once the ones for this month are released?

Yes, one release at a time!  There's no need to get ahead of ourselves. :D  I would simply be happy to have a date to look forward to for this month's releases.   Hmm, I wonder if Friday will be made even better with some breaking news from our Jedi Master.

If you all will excuse my ignorance, are/were these available for pre-order yet? I have flipped through more than a dozen pages trying to find an answer, but I guess I have to swallow my pride and just ask

If by "these" you mean the two we've been talking about as of recently, no.  They will be released this month (we all feverishly hope).

Hey Everyone - I have some good news and bad news. The good news is that I should have a firm release date on the new Lithographs next week and based on what I'm hearing it may be very soon.

On the bad news side we had a number of Lithograph orders get held up by our warehouse this evening. When we received product to fill the Bazaar price packs we were sent a number of Lithographs that were signed and numbered and held back by BioWare.

Included in that shipment were a number of unsigned and unnumbered lithographs that were  mixed in with the good Lithographs and so they were check into our inventory, but that we can't sell. I'm going to the warehouse first thing tomorrow to figure out exactly how many orders are effected. It may be as few as 5 and as many as 50.

Once we figure out who has been effected we're going to do the following. We'll send an email letting you know that we don't have a lithograph to ship and that we will be refunding your order. We'll also provide a coupon to use on your next purchase.

I apologize in advance to anyone who might be effected. I view this as a one time issue as we had a number of unique events that caused this problem. However, going forward we're going to do a better job of checking all Lithographs when they arrive and we're also going to make sure we are faster in processing and shipping out orders.

If you have any questions feel free to PM me.

Thanks,
J

Ouch, that had better be a hefty coupon, I can't tell you how disappointed I was when they canceled my orders a few weeks ago.

Agreed, these Lithographs have turned into my new crack. Kidding. Just a little.

Whats weird is the Collectors litho I ordered (seperately from TIM and Afterlife) still hasnt shipped even though its still showing as in stock and hopefully isnt effected by the mixup.

Oh and Jedi, quick question ... who or what determines the # run of the lithos? I'm not saying run 10,000 but I am curious.

The coupons will be hefty. I'm hoping that its only a few orders once I get to the warehouse, but I'd rather give the worst case option and have things be better then the other way around.

~sighs~ I hope this doesn't mean my Illusive Man...the only one I managed to get out of that release isn't coming now. That would be a major disappointment. Best of luck to us all on this problem.
