Seriously Bioware can we get a lithograph limit per household so that all fans have a fair chance at getting these?

I have to agree.  I can't really see how it would hurt anyone to limit it to one per address.  Or maybe only allow one to be purchased per household per day?  I don't know - there has to be something that could be done.

As I said before, I have talked to Jed about this and he has talked with the BW guys. Right now all they're going to do is monitor it and if they feel someone orders too much they will limit it.

Gross (provided they sold all 500 and kept no spares and they had to pay bioware nothing) they just got $15000 in 92 minutes... Obviously some had to be paid away etc... but still... That's ridiculous. And clever... Very clever...

Also it's a business I guess.  You CAN limit people, but where's the business sense in that, I guess...

Yes it is a business... but I have seen many examples of stores limiting purchases on limited edition items so that it give a chance for all to have a chance at getting a limited item. Heck even Gamestop limited the Collector's Edition ME2 to two per household I believe.

Just reviewing the order. There are very few that are for more the 3, looks like a handful at 5, and 2 that in excess of that and we'll deal with those.

especially when some have flat out said "oh I'm going to turn around and ebay this." Yeah it's a great busines venture if you are the one making the profit, but really takes the fun out of collection, idk

Thank you Jedi.  You are like a star in the night sky.  This really raises my opinion of Bioware and the Treehouse Brand Stores, though both were already extremely high.

Thanks for doing that Jedi. Glad to know that people ordering three or more are in the minority.

I think what Jedi is saying is that there are two orders that were in excess of 5, possibly implying that there might be some scrutiny applied..  Since you only ordered 2, I don't think you need to worry.  Its the profiteers that might need to sweat a little.

Hahaha...Slim Charles, you're a scumbag. And a poor one at that. What kind of fool boasts publicly that he buys six and then reveals to people he barely knows that he does sell them on eBay?

What a loser. :P

I do understand how people get antsy over it, but I just don't like people making accusations of me selling on ebay when I have never. I have friends who love the game, but aren't privy to the release of these things. Citadel and Normandy sold out very quickly, the rest I had time to tell them to buy their own.

Whoa...they aren't "privy" to the release of these?  Why don't you tell them?  If you are here on the boards, you are more than privy yourself.  Really...don't dig yourself a deeper hole.

Ok Charles, you asked for it. The following is a PM conversation I had with Charles when he decided to stick his nose into my "Illium Wanted" post -

May I ask how much your Illium went for?

I sold it for $399 on ebay, but if you take out selling fees and shipping, I made about $350 on it.

Hmmm, this was a few weeks ago? I keep pretty close tabs on Ebay and I must have missed your listing. Could you please send me the link?

Whoops, actually I just checked my account and it was quite a while ago when I sold mine. I sold off an extra Citadel, Omega, and Minuteman about a month ago and was thinking the Illium was in with them. I'll see if I can find the link, but it may be too late.

Ok, then may I ask how much the others went for? I'm curious to see if the total price of the Citadel and one of the other lithos came close to the $400 you got for Illium.

I got $185 for The Citadel, $116 for Omega, and $124 for Minuteman. But, I have not been able to view my Illium listing, I think ebay removes them after 60 days or something like that.

So which is it Charles? Looking forward to the nasty PM you're going to send me. Image IPB

I'll just quote this for posterity.

I wonder what his seller name on eBay is? I found a print of The Collectors that someone didn't put a reserve price on and I somehow managed to get it for $15...I don't think that one is in high demand, but it was still pretty lucky. Anyway, the guy was so agitated about it that I had to e-mail him almost half a dozen times before he'd ship my item over a week later. He gave me some story about why he was late shipping, but it had about the same level of BS in it as Charles's stories did, so who knows...I'd like to think it was him just to make myself laugh.

I don't think flaming is necessary. You can disapprove of his actions, but you don't have to resort to name calling.

So... I don't suppose there's any chance of there being more of these printed, is there? Even if they'd perhaps be marked in some way as "Second Edition" and either not have the signature, or have it computer printed rather than hand-signed? I ask because I -really- wanted one of these... and missed out on getting one, probably by just a couple minutes. I was -here- was Jedi first said they were up...and then the servers acted up. I couldn't wait for it to be resolved, though; I was home on my lunch break, and as it was, I was late getting back to work. So, I'm just a bit...frustrated, to say the least. And I'd really rather not have to go to eBay to get one of these, and give those ****s the satisfaction of ripping me off.

[Edit: Ah, so there is a censor filter here. Meh. My point remains the same.]

Wait a couple of months and you might hopefully be able grab one of the reserves that they keep behind to cover shipping damages.

I'd like to be fair to everyone that has requested one since not everyone is in the same time zone and many people were at work. I'm going to do a random drawing of some sort.
