well I'm guessing Bioware might not have enough spares. I'm suprised they cut out the styrofoam. That was key in keeping it straight. Let's hope it makes it to Canada okay. Won't get it till next week though. I really hope my free litho doesn't get bent. Good luck to the overseas people!

Anyone mind posting a picture of it? I want to see what the damages are and get a better view of the litho, those store pictures don't do it justice.

Yeah the top right corner of mine is bent pretty noticeably as well. Keep in mind when I say mine has a very noticeable crease in the middle, I mean it's bent pretty bad. Not that I had any plans to sell mine, but it's not really worth much as a collectible in the condition it arrived in.

My Korlus litho had that problem too, in a frame it's not too noticeable though.

...why would they remove the styrofoam? I guess I'll just have to hope that mine doesn't end up ruined.

Just watched the mailman go by... my frame will have to sit empty another day.  Hm.  All these posts about damage to the lithos has me quite a bit worried.  Has anyone received theirs undamaged?  I suppose we'll hear more people report back as the day goes on.

Wow... just looked at the pic of Rizim's.  :(  That's really not good.

I have to agree the new packaging seems worse despite being completely closed. Mine is bent in the corners and you can see impressions from where the folded cardboard puts pressure against the litho because the pressure is focused in at small lines rather than having a solid flat piece up against the entire litho

Oh no, I hope this isn't a disaster in the making! I would've thought the store would test the new packaging out before sending out hundreds of orders.

Wow, seems like it was folded or something. Not good. I really hope mine is undamaged. I would be devastated if my free omega litho was bent right down the middle *fingers crossed*. So just to confirm, it was just shipped in a sealed cardboard box with no other sort of protection from folding?

If everyone gets these damages, they might as well recall all of it and reprint/ship them. My guess is that we might have a lot of angry customers.

I love you Bioware, but terrible idea to switch shipping methods on one of their (if not THE) fastest selling lithographs.

My damage is very similar Rizim's, except it's more focused at the very top and lightens up as it bleeds into the picture. Sorry to see yours is worse. More sorry to see that it's looking like most are damaged.

If the package is so bad, I will start to worry. My litho is shipped to France, and I know it takes at least two weeks. And the probability to have it damaged increase with distance and time... :(

To the person who asked, there is protective foam in the packaging, it's just on the sides and along the bottom. Like a foam frame. Id give more details but I went home for lunch and opened it. I don't remember much after noticing the crease.

Just to chime in on what ilikeicehockey said, if there are many damaged Normandy lithos we should be able to send the damaged ones back, have the individual numbers noted, and receive newly printed lithos with the same signature and number.

That is assuming they did not immediately destroy the lithograph printing plate after printing their set quantity.  They are usually recycled by artists to make new lithographs.  Image IPB

I was under the impression that they only used the printing plate to make a single lithograph, then scanned it and reprinted the rest.

Sounds great. I recommend buying to a German, and lithos seem to arrive damaged. (Not in the mood for being optimistic, sorry.) *sigh*

Uh-oh..  I just got my confirmation at 4 AM.   This lack of styrofoam is worrying.  I hope the postal workers are feeling gentle...

Anyone received one in perfect condition yet? This is very worrisome. Hopefully the fact that I have other lithos in with the Normandy will prevent too severe damage.

You guys are really scaring me. Mine shipped out yesterday but that crease in that image is really bad. I had 2 lithos replaced because of nearly unnoticable damage. I personally liked the open box styrofoam but I think closed box styro would be best. Now I hear of all these being damaged. I just might cry a little. I know if mine is damaged, I will be sending a support request for a replacement.

There you can see the folded cardboard that caused the damage on both sides. :(
