Watching that slide-show makes me shudder. Is the packaging a 2 layered cardboard?
Those new Lithographs! (ver. 2)

No, I only paid for standard. The tracking page says "Priority Mail" though.

I only did standard personally..
Why do I have the sense I'm in for a rough Saturday/Monday?

Mine also entered the USPS gauntlet at 5pm yesterday, priority mail (standard shipping). Thanks for the much-needed laugh, Ultor84.
Ugh, I am so nervous!

The intent was to lighten the mood a touch. You'd be surprised how hard it is to find a remotely decent picture of that moment.Beocat wrote...

Wondering why I havent even got a shipping confirmation yet.
Those pictures of damages are HORRIBLE. I thought they were going to keep the styrofoam sheets just close all sides, this new way is horrible and I am very worried for both my Normandy and Illusive man.

The funny thing is that SW (ep. 5) is up on tv here right now, and now after this pic, every dead (there are a lot of Vader's victims in 5) makes me think of this here.

wow, so the litho's are not completely surrounded by Styrofoam? They are just "framed"? Good lord Bioware store. Apparently shipping is the new rocket science....

No need to be so harsh. They tried to improve the boxes to make the lithographs arrive in perfect condition.
This stuff happens, and I'm sure they are going to do their best to resolve the issue.

Ok, I finally worked up the nerve:
No major creases across the image, which is a huge plus, but all the lithos are bent in three corners. My bonus Omega looks fairly rough, but I won't even begin to complain about it because I am just thrilled to have it. The damage to the Normandys isn't bad (it will easily be covered by a frame), but the poor quality of the new packaging is clearly to blame for the dented corners. The outer packaging is pristine, which makes me think USPS handled mine with great care, but I hate to think how badly-beaten a lot of these lithos are going to arrive. USPS is not known for it's gentleness and mine is probably as good as it is going to get. I didn't notice any styrofoam at all, it is just cardboard. I can't imagine any lithos arriving without bent corners.
Not to scare all you guys, but this is looking like a disaster for the Bioware store.

The new packing method was tested before we shipped so I'm working to get to the bottom of this issue right now.
All packing method are drop tested before we consider using them and with this method we actually did it twice. That means the shipper drops the package 100 times and for a packing method to pass there needs to be less then 1% damage rate.
If you receive a damage Lithogaphs please open a support case and also send me photo's - Jed@treehousebrandstores.com.

So far as I can tell, mine has not shipped yet. Maybe there is hope of averting this on such orders.

To all of you who got bonus lithos: I believe you are just getting returned lithos that have been sitting around. Don't expect a perfect one. Mine shows damage that clearly did not occur during this shipment. I am just happy to get one in any condition, but I wanted to warn you all anyway.

To Jedi...
My fiance used to work for UPS a long long time ago. He just told me long, thin, flat boxes like these lithograph boxes are often tossed into trucks like projectiles. They don't carry them in when packing the trucks...If the package testing wasn't done with someone literally throwing the boxes as hard as they could across the room...they weren't being UPS-proof tested. =/
I'm losing hope every minute.
