I'll send in a photo and open a ticket once I'm home from work. Thanks for looking into this.

UPS just delivered my Ishimura and Medical Deck lithos sandwiched between two sheets of styrofoam and wrapped in cardboard. Jeez, The taping and cardboard edges were thrashed and the inner styrofoam was bent. Luckily the lithos were near the opposite corner. I'd almost rather have these rolled and put in a sturdy tube. At least then we wouldn't have to worry about UPS playing fold and flex with them.

It makes absolutely no sense too go to a completly new method of packaging like they have. All they had too do was completly tape the perimeter and it would have been perfect instead of just putting 5 pieces.

I am sacred ****less at this point too be honest, everything from the folded cardboard ontop of the litho to the litho sitting with no buffer between it and the cardboard is insane.

Agreed, any sort of movement would basically bend the corners of the lithos

Hey Guys - I understand everyone is concerned about their Lithographs and its clear that then new packaging, at least from what we've heard so far hasn't preformed as expected.

We will deal with and replace any damaged Lithographs so please don't get to stressed out. We'll handle any issues that arise.

its not that i dont have confidence that the issue's will be solved but sending lithos halfway across the world back and forth is gonna take weeks if not months. especialy if your replacement litho has the same issues...

That is particularly true if you don't live in the US. It will last at least two weeks, if not a month, till I can see my litho. I hope you'll still handle my case if it appears that it is damaged :?

Hey Jed,

My question is if the lithos that have yet to be shipped will have their packaging arrangement altered due to this problem?

Thanks.

Don't give up hope quite yet everyone. My lithograph also arrived today and despite it not having any styrofoam it arrived in pretty good shape. I only say pretty good because there was a small fold at the very top of the middle where the box had been pinched in but it is unnoticeable once framed.

Seeing as a whole lot of you have already received your litho's I'm surprised there is not a whole bunch on eBay yet.

That is rather good news I recon!

(Not for the fact that they are damaged and people can't sell them, but it shows that a whole lot more people bought them because they really wanted them instead.)

ilikeicehockey, my post 4 pages ago was directed at the TIM/Omegas, not Normandy.

Anyway, all of these damaged lithos are worrying me, since that means the ones held back for just this situation are going to be used, and the second sale will be smaller... :(

My question is, to get a replacement, do we need to send the damage ones back in exchange, or do I just need to take pictures of the damage to get a replacement? The damage is very noticeable, but would probably be hidden by a frame, so I don't know if it is worth the hassle to send them back and wait for a replacement just to fix damage that a frame would cover.

Start a report ticket and they should tell you what they want you to do.

I'm pretty sure they'll make you send it back.

To many people would probably photoshop some damage on their or something just to get a freebie.

I'm no photoshop expert, but creating fake damage on paper and making it look real to the trained-eye has got to be a heck of a task. But, if that's the case, I won't even bother trying to get a replacement. I'll just be quietly disappointed and occasionally throw out snippy comments directed at the Bioware Store. I got an Omega though, I guess I can be happy with that.

It's here! And it's packaged fairly well, no damage and looking nice inside. It's shipped in and padded by folded cardboard only. Shipped from Aurora, CO using USPS's priority shipping (2-3 days).

Here's a couple of crappy pics from an old iphone:

Now I have to start looking for a frame.

Just got mine, and as others have reported mine came with all the corners smashed in. The actual image is fine, but I'm disappointed and doubtful they'll have enough replacements for everyone who received theirs in this shape.

No need to be so harsh. They tried to improve the boxes to make the lithographs arrive in perfect condition.

This stuff happens, and I'm sure they are going to do their best to resolve the issue.

Sorry, but my patience is wearing thin.  So is a lot of other members.  Jedi has been awesome regarding how this ongoing fiasco is being handled, and I am fortunate to not have to have had to deal with a damaged litho yet.  But this is the third method of shipping they have implemented.   I stand by my statements.  Its shipping, not rocket science.  Get a consultants input or something, but for gods sake figure it out prior to the next release.

Just got my Normandy lithos in and all is well save for some extremely minor bends on the corners. Unfortunately I got very high #s, 442 and 443... they really are selected at random when they box these for us.  As an added bonus I got a DA:O sticker with the lithos, it's not the omega litho I was hoping for but i guess it will do

Here is an idea. Frame them for us and send the litho that way, i wouldnt mind spending another 10 to 15 bcks for that. That way they can also slap some fragile stickers on it.

Same here!  probably less than a mm of damage on a single corner for mine (just got it 5 minutes ago).  I also got an extremely high number, 434, but hey!  I'm just happy they are in near perfect shape considering what I had been hearing.  I shall have to thank my mail-woman next time I see her for being so gently with this one.

Also, on the invoice paper, it said I was recieving a DAO sticker with the lithos, but I don't see it.  However, I didn't order it so no worries from me :)  I'm just happy I got my lithos in one piece.  Now to figure out where to put it.  :)

Mine arrived today. There is a crease across the middle, and the corners are a little dented in. I put it in a frame, but you can still really notice the crease in the middle. :(...........
