Mine arrived today in near mint condition. The Normandy litho has a small 1 inch crease in the upper left of the actual image, but it is only noticeable at certain extreme angles. The Omega litho is in perfect condition save for one corner that is bent to a minor extent.

The Normandy looks great framed next to the Wards. The cool blue perfectly contrasts the warm reds.

Mine arrived today and survived the dents o' doom. Some very minor (ie, less than 1mm) bending on some of the corners, but will disappear when framed. To be honest, I'm glad there was no styrofoam. Pretty much every one of my previous orders has been damaged because the styrofoam wasn't properly shaved and had rough sections. My Ageis 7 looks like it has stars where there are not. Slightly bent corners are easy to deal with, sandpaper looking scratching is not. Still wish they would have used some of the ultra soft styrofoam you see occassionally. The Illusive Man though arrived in mint condition, very happy with that (same slightly bent corners still). Mid run numbers, I would be suprised if they had them ordered inversely, so the first order out got the highest number, and the last one got the lowest.

As others have mentioned, I would gladly pay for the option to have mine framed and sent that way to protect it, provided it was on an acid free backing and with the special UV glass, in a classy plain black frame. Just seems like the best way to prevent damage, and it's convienent too.

Illium litho is ending soon, and it's somewhat surprising that that Omega litho is getting up there. I'm almost tempted to ninja bid on the illium, if only because it's so rare...

Ordered two Normandy lithos and got both today.  One was nearly perfect; a VERY tiny bend on one corner.  Some extremely slight rippling where the folded-in cardboard sections met with the paper, but you can't see it unless you're tilting it at a certain angle under a certain amount of light while inspecting from a very close distance, LoL.  Not concerned.

The box that the second one was in had a smashed in corner, and that corner of the litho was pretty crumpled up.  A second corner also had some light creasing.  :?

Good to hear some people for their litho's in a good condition.

I think some people are getting a little to angry about the shipping though.

The only way to make sure that there is no damage to your picture would be to encase it in a thick steel box, padded with foam or something... and even then I bet some courier will have lots of fun to try and find a way to damage whatever is inside.

As some people said before who know people who work in the post office, or who worked there themselves, the people just don't care about the packages. So no matter what it is put in, if they don't treat it right it will come out damaged.

I did like the Styrofoam packaging, I think it worked really well, but someone people still don't seem happy.

But just do what Jedi said...open a support case. Problem solved.

Now on a side note, I'm reading about some people getting their packages TODAY, even some Aussies. Today is Sunday, how did you manage that? I didn't even know courier run on Sunday....

I used to work at an online consignment store, and we shipped tons of items every day, large and small.  When FedEx representatives would train the store owners on how to pack, they were all given a fragile item and told to wrap it up and box it.  They were then taken outside and made to hurl it into the air as hard and as high as they could and let it land on the concrete.  If it survived, it would most likely survive whatever happened to it in transit (unless it got run over by the delivery truck... which actually happened more than once in the three years I was there).

Ideally, they say that there should be 1-2" of space on each side between the box wall and the item, which probably would've helped prevent a lot of damaged litho corners, I'm guessing.  I know it would've saved mine.

As for the carriers not caring about parcels... it's definitely not unheard of.  One of our FedEx carriers told us once "Oh yeah, those 'FRAGILE' stickers?  Heh, we just see that as a challenge."  <_<

....anyway.  Back to the topic of the lithographs themselves.  The Normandy?  Absolutely beautiful.  And this is coming from someone that really doesn't care about ships, haha.

uh how do aussies get it before Canadians. That itself is mind boggling. Happened with Korlus and Wards too. Someone in Germany got it before I did. They really need to fix this Canadian shipping.

The stickers are behind the packing slip inside the plastic on the outside of the box.

Nope, I checked there.  It wasn't in the bag with the shirt I ordered at the same time either.  It's not a big deal since I didn't pay for it.  I was just temporarily excited when I saw a sticker listed on the packing list :wizard:, followed by confusion when I couldn't find it , and finally disappoinment when it was nowhere to be found:?.

I can't help but be suspicious of that final price, coupled with anonymous bidding. Things don't appreciate more than 10X their value in a couple months. I smell a crash coming.. That or the sellers are using alt accounts to distort the market.

I think the one from early this summer went for $600 on a buy it now.  Mind you, I didn't save the auction in my watch list so I could be wrong.  I think it was up for less than a full day but it created quite a buzz on this forum.  As quickly as it sold, I'm actually surprised this one didn't make it to 600 too.  However, art is not like other items.  Art can become infinitely valuable if you have the right market, although, art typically becomes more valuable AFTER the death of the artist lol...

Got mines, but unfortunately there are creases and dinged up corners.

I actually like the enclosed packaging, but it wasn't executed right. What they should've done is make box larger than the print, at least an inch clearance. The print itself should be poly bagged and taped to another cardboard piece or sandwiched between 2 cardboard pieces. Then you can place the sandwiched piece in the pre-made box to reduce damage. The 2 flaps that secure the print in place doesn't really keep it in place. It sits loosely in the box. One drop and the corners will get bent.

I know some of you might complain about higher shipping cost, but I will gladly pay to have the prints arrive in perfect condition and not go through headaches of exchanging the prints. They can buy bulk poly sleeves at places like Bags Unlimited.

Got my Normandy along with a mint Omega. Thanks Jedi! :D

Very exciting. The Omega is signed and numbered (In the 200's I believe) too.

Now I have 4 to put up in my office. Although, I still need to pick some frames. I just wish I could get a Citadel and an Illium. But, at the crazy prices they are going for on eBay it's not likely.

I just saw there is an Omega on eBay going for crazy money too. I sure hope that's not one that Jedi gave away.

The only Omega I see is print number 11.  That auction started Wednesday, and I don't think anyone got thier lithos until Thursday and most Friday or later, I still haven't gotten mine, and I assume I'm not alone.   Without actually having gotten them, nobody could know what number they had, so I think it's almost impossible that that litho on eBay is one of the ones that Jedi gave away.

Just wondering guys.. are you supposed to get a shipping confirmation email? I got a message saying my order was placed and my credit card got billed but no news of whether it has been sent or not.

you should be getting a shipping confirmation email. To be sure though, check your order on the bioware store. It should say billed and if there's a tracking number then you should be okay.

PayPal only confirms the money transaction. Unlike eBay-PayPal transactions, PayPal does not have to receive a shipping confirmation to call it complete.

What does it say under status in your store account? Maybe it shipped but you just didn't get the email.
