I did get my lithos quite a bit quicker this time. When I ordered The Wards and Korlus it took awhile before I actually received them. So, I wouldn't be too worried if you haven't received yours yet.

Hi Eric, We are sorry for the delay. Your order ships out tonight. You should get a ship confirmation and tracking by the end of the day. Please let us know if we can do anything else for you.
I replied:
May I ask what the delay was? Also, there are several reports on the forums about how the new closed packaging does not allow enough extra room on all sides for the lithograph, if the corners get damaged on the box... it transfers to litho damage. I also heard and seen that the new packaging, the cardboard fold is in direct contact with the litho and there is bad rippling damage. Is this being looked into? I would not want both of my lithos to be damaged.

Hi Eric, The delay was due to an overwhelming number of orders and shipments. There has been some damage with the new package but not more than other ship methods. If you get your lithos and they are damaged, please let us know.

Honestly I'm angry with this new packaging, I know Jedi said it was tested, but just looking at it for 2 minutes and it's clear to see how problematic it is, no foam, no protection of any kind, and your creating pressure points with the contact of the cardboard onto the litho, and there is room for it to bounce around and hit the corners and edges all over the cardboard, really? How does that pass the testing that was done? So sad and dissappointed.

Well the first Normandy made it to eBay. Starting price: $100
Hate this. The guy stated he got the extra as a 'gift'. Yeah right, he probably bought 2 to sell one, maybe more

But i am pretty sure that i won't get my lithographs this week, it is a long way to Germany. Last time it took almost 2 weeks if i remember correctly.
Okay, let's hope for the best, and i think it is a good decision to go back to the old shipping method. My Collectors lithograph arrived in perfect condition.

I really hope that a least my free omega lithograph arrives in a good condition. I think it is impossible to replace, but of course it is a lithograph i get for free, so i will keep this one.

You might actually get it this week. One of the board members here is from Germany and she got it on a wed/thurs after it was shipped on Friday. I'm scared about my Omega too. I've accepted the fact that its probably going to come bent but at least it was free.

<_< Grr. Meanwhile, fans here on the forums missed out. Fortunately, I think the mini-lithos will help to mitigate this problem. Now many people who would like a litho can just get a mini. I know they're not the same thing, but I know I'd rather buy the mini from Bioware than give money to people selling them for profit on ebay.

I'm really nervous about my Normandy lithos, I need too keep my mind off it since it will still be a week or more till I have them. With my luck I won't be surprised if their badly damaged. :/

Omega just went for $350. It was #11, but I can't imagine that increases its value by that much. You guys that got them free are sooooo lucky...
maybe not, the creases/bent corners might be a bit of a problem...

that depends on when you get it.
if my illusive man and normandy ship today or tommorow (still havent gotten a shipment notice) they should send them in the old packaging. from what i heard the bent corners werent that big of an issue with those.

I've only had it shipped one time from the old packaging but tha shouldn't have any bent corners in it. It is sandwiched in b/w 2 styrofoam pieces and fairly secure. The only downside to that one is it's not fully sealed so if it rains/snows it can definitely leak into the package which would damage the litho.

If the package is left outside and the weather is less than desirable, most delivery-men/postal workers will put the box in a bag to prevent moisture damage.

Edit: I just found a post from a month ago - apparently Canadian tracking numbers don't work so hot. Still wondering about the Canada Post/FedEx duality though...
