My Omega framed up and my small Mass Effect wall.

I made it from scratch with help from my father.  From figuring out all the dimensions, to cutting the matte, to assembling it all.

You don't see much love for the Jack litho, glad you have it framed.

Looks good in red Dan =) I still like that Jack with the orange. Didn't you post a picture of that a couple of months ago too? You've got a good eye for color.

Yeah I did Jack awhile back and I have been sitting around unable to decide what to frame next. I finally decided on Omega, thought that I'd go for a renegade theme. Thank you on the colours, I try too look into the image and pick a prominent colour that appeals too me.  With Jack, her skin and especially the floor/wall decals are that orange. Omega was pretty simple, you have that vibrant red, grey or black.  I thought it was pretty cool when I hung Omega up and the colours on my 2 lithos match the team poster perfectly. That was an unplanned coincidence.

Canadian tracking is non-existent. They use XPO shipping which doesn't provide tracking publicly. My guess is that the tracking is for XPO themselves only to see where it is. Once it hits the Canadian border, Canada Post takes over and they assign the package a new tracking number but you won't know what it is because they don't send that to you. I figured that out because there was a working Canada Post tracking number on my package when I received it but I never got that number in an email. Plus the number only works once it passes the Canadian border.

Crud. So we get an untrackable tracking number. Ah well, back to worrying whether my lithos are stuck in a sorting machine somewhere. And I'm still boggled at the idea that the Australians have delivery before Canada.

Thanks for the info, ilikeicehockey. :)

Seeing that framing has come up again... I've been wondering about this (and before anyone says anything, yes, I did try the search already; it this was covered somewhere before, it got buried...) Anyways. When framing a lithograph, do you -need- to have it matted as well, and if so, what so of dimensions would be recommended?

I check this form somewhat regularly and I must have missed the mention of the minis. So, I'm curious what exactly are these minis?

Check this thread;

Thanks for the link.

Mine has not shipped. I was told by Jedi that the delay was because of the damage issues some people were having. I also opened a support case and they said they would ship the litho on 8/23 but I still have not recieved a shipping confirmation.

This is the message I got from Jedi two days ago:

Hi Eric,

Your order got held up as we put Lithograph orders on hold as soon
as we heard about the potential issue. We're going back to the old
packaging. I've flagged your order to ship so it should go out tomorrow.

Thanks,

Jed

I was just about to post this too, one of the free ones being sold for $250. I know Bioware can't keep people from selling these on ebay, but can we at least ban them from buying again? Just keep track of who gets what number, and ban that seller from buying again when it pops up on ebay. That's a better way to combat the scalpers than limiting the number of lithographs.

That's assuming it was one of the free ones, and not just one someone was hanging onto from previous sales. I think there was another Omega up recently which went for a lot so, he could be following the Illium seller's thinking. If it is, they could prevent future freebies from going to that person if they wrote down who got what number (but that kind of recording for freebies is unlikely).

How do you guys know it is a free one? It just happened to show up in the right time frame, that doesn't necessarily mean it is one of the given-away ones.

Follow the link to the listing, look at the pictures. It's clearly the new packaging, hence one of the new ones. Also, look at one of the seller's other items. He's one of the few listing a Normandy one.

*edit* I meant one of the free ones.

Sad but true.  We will likely not recieve another opportunity at free gifting due to the lack of honesty around here.

Just got a new email from support:

Hi Eric,

Your order will ship out today. You should receive a confirmation and tracking information in the next 24 hours.

It did not go out on the 23rd as planned due to changes in shipping protocol. We are so sorry for the delay and please let us know if we can do anything else for you.

Thank you,
THBS

I wonder how many Normandys that person bought? It's pretty clear from the photos that they just opened the package and posted the lithos. So, yeah, they laugh all the way to the bank, while people who actually wanted to build a collection without having to sell a kidney miss out.

Ah well, it was a darn good try by Jedi. Too bad some people are profiteering scum. <_<

Yet another reason to just institute a new policy - if you buy a litho and sell it on ebay, you can't buy them again. Legally, Bioware can't prevent people from selling them, but I think they would have full rights to restrict future purchases.
