I recieved my lithos today and evenknown they came in the new packaging they are absolutely mint. Only 1 corner on each litho is alittle bent, no creases or lines on the lithos at all. I finally have some good luck with the Bio store! On top of that I got my replacement t-shirts and they fit perfectly so it was am awesome mail day.

^i just received my normany litho, after anxiously waiting!

it arrived in mint condition. it had a sort of empressed dent on the leftedge but not really noticeable.(im assuming from the no Styrofoam/cardboard panel itself) only when i was reflecting the sunlight of it, looking at it form an angle could i see it. but im happy with it, i wouldn't ask for a another on that basis.

thank god ~

Still waiting for my litho :(

Shipped like 11 days ago. Then again, I am in Australia, but international shipping is usually pretty quick for me.

Just got my Normandy. Bloody delighted as it's my birthday today:D

It's in good condition too. Slightly bent on the right and upper edges, but nothing worth fussing over. It'll be hidden when framed. The print itself is perfect. No. 314/500 (could be 319, I can't really read the handwriting too well)

Got all my three Normandys today.. The packages themselves (ordered one first then two lithos so I got one package with two lithos and one with one litho) was undamaged, but I cant say the same for the lithos. They were all damaged by the left folded piece of cardboard.

Guess I have to get new ones.. Sorry Bioware, but the new packaging didn't work for me :(

A Garrus is up on E-Bay.

LOL @ $398 buy it now.  I haven't seen a Garrus on E-Bay since I've started watching, but Garrus =/= Illium or The Citadel.

Jedi PM'ed me this today:

12:07 PM 2010-08-31

"Hi Eric, Just spoke with my warehouse again. The reason these got held up were because one, we were switching the packaging for the Normandy and two because the IM lithograph have a small bend in the corner and the warehouse did not do a good job communicating with my team on the reason for the hold up or getting the answer. I just cleared the second part up. Your order will ship today or I will go pick it up at the warehouse and drive it to your order. You'll see and tracking number around 2 am MST tomorrow morning. Thanks, Jed"

Definitely PM Jedi and include your order number and your support case number so he can find you in the system and address both issues. It usually takes 24 hrs to recieve an initial response from support (from my experience anyways). Jedi is very understanding about these things so remember to keep any building frustration you have with the issue out of your PM. He doesn't deserve taking the brunt for every mishap of the store. He usually responds fairly quickly, especially if you give him your order and support numbers.

its not that i blame anyone in particular and i'm not one to attack anyone because of some paperwork getting screwed up.
its just that every company that i ordered something from in the past 2 weeks is having shipment delays.. and funny enoegh almost all of those orders are mass effect related...

The odds of even having a second Normandy sale are getting bleaker by the day...

My Korlus and Normandy arrived today, in mint condition. The only condition issue is tiny - microscopic, even - bends on a couple of corners. It was a huge relief. Also, the picture of Korlus at the store doesn't do it justice; while very blue it has a lot of detail to it, and is really an interesting scene.

Oh, and does anyone else have trouble reading the number on their Normandy? The Sharpie marker doesn't work as well as a really fine tipped felt pen. I don't like guessing, and it occurred to me that a certificate stating "This is an original lithograph of --------, number --- of ---, signed by the artist --------- --------- " would be nice. It would verify the number and artist at a glance, and prevent the guessing game of " I think that's an 8, or maybe 3. Or a 2."

I'll second that. I can make out that mine is number 286 easily enough, though, somewhat ironically, if I didn't already know that they were out of 500, I'd probably have no idea how many there were - that 5 is a blur that could just as easily be a 6. (Would be even harder to tell if there weren't already a six in the first number; you can at least compare the two and see they're different.) More noticeable... I have -no- idea who the original artist is, unless their name is "squiggly mark" in which case we're good. XP But seriously, I know it's a signature, but I can't even begin to read it.

pretty sure the artist is Mikko Kinnunen. I also don't blame him for a hard to read signature. From the lithos I have with that signature, he's done Omega, Citadel, Korlus and Normandy. It'd be pretty tedius to sign/number over 1000 times.

Check first post for artist mention...

Oy.  The profiteers must smell blood in the water from recent sales or be scared out of their minds about the existence of the mini-lithograph series.
There is a Citadel/Illusive Man combo on E-Bay.  Floor bid is $500.  It will be very interesting to see if there are any takers, since the Citadel is probably still around $400 alone.

Edit:  Took a second look.  Have to almost admire the seller's chutzpah.  Not only is the seller looking for a minimum return around $430 if you figure they paid somewhere around $10 for shipping, they won't ship it for free themselves.  I salute their greed and gall.

Oh yes, and to all, Happy Mini-Lithograph Day!

Here's the thing, if ebay prices do go down, that means that the mini-lithographs devalued them. And as someone collecting the lithos, that upsets me.

I'm not going to try to change any one's minds about the inherent risks associated with collecting anything with resell value in mind.    Its hard to tell whats going to happen with the originals in the long term.  Personally, I wouldn't be surprised to see a short term dip in prices as the market adjusts and seperates the tiers of consumer who want the signed original versus those who are content with the minis.  Right now is probably not a good time to sell unless its a Normandy.

However, the ME2 audience is going to be expanded to the PS3 audience in a few months, potentially bringing more buyers into the market.  The extent of what happens then depends on what you think of the PS3 user base and whether or not they see the value in the original limited runs versus the mass produced minis.  Same thing could happen again with the upcoming film.  The interest in the franchise is primed to expand.

Personally?  I'll still chase the originals, but only if the price is right.  But thats not really a change in my buying behavior.  The most I've paid for a piece is $250.  And thats pretty much my ceiling.  Illium and the Citadel are lovely, but I'm not going to part with $400 for them.  More power to those who do, I admire their love of the IP and the artwork.  I can't though.

Yeah...I saw that Citadel on ebay with the IM and I'm nowhere near that crazy... Some of these ebay sellers are becoming outrageous. ~sighs~ A trade is looking like my only option =/

Did anyone on the forums win that second Illium that was up this past week?
