Finally got a shipping confirmation about mine after opening a support case almost a week ago. I'm not going to complain at all though because I got one of the Illusive Man prints! I never get anything for free, so that's pretty exciting. On the other hand, I live in southeastern North Carolina, so now I just have to hope that the luck will continue and the hateful category three hurricane Earl will STAY AWAY. According to the Weather Channel, my area is only under "medium" danger...Okay. Super. Earl, I can wait for...my lithos, I cannot! Finally!

Edit: By the way, in the last e-mail before my shipping confirmation, the support staff told me the shipping was taking so long because they told me they had changed their "shipping protocol". Hopefully, this means packaging that won't damage the lithos, because damage would break my heart.

I received my Normandys today. I must say that they didn't arrive in the perfect conditions I was getting used to. Both are damaged in all the corners, and one has a small, almost unnoticeable, crease.

Once framed they should be fine, but to my brother I'm giving the one with the crease :D

Yeah...I saw that Citadel on ebay with the IM and I'm nowhere near that crazy... Some of these ebay sellers are becoming outrageous. ~sighs~ A trade is looking like my only option =/

Did anyone on the forums win that second Illium that was up this past week?

If it was a poster, I haven't seen anyone fess up to it as of yet.  More power to them though.  It was well played with the steal in the final 5 seconds.

Just an FYI, the mini's are up now. So, it's a good chance to get an Illium without taking a second on your house.

My Normandy arrived recently too. I must say I find the new packaging lacking. My Illusive Man arrived in perfect condition due to it being surrounded by Styrofoam. However the Normandy had a dinged corner and a slight bend. I really think surrounding the lithos with Styrofoam, or something similar, is the way to go.  Maybe tape the Styrofoam around the edges to avoid moisture?   A box on its own simply doesn't protect the lithos enough from the evils of the USPS.

They went back to the old packaging and changed the shipping recently. My Normandy came over a week ago in cardboard only, via USPS. I just received my Korlus today and it was sandwiched between 2 quarter-inch styrofoam boards within the cardboard. And it came via UPS.

such a drama at the bioware store.

i heard some of the people who were very late with geting their shipment notice finaly got one... except me...

i've sent a PM to jed maybe he can help me with this.

i've opened 2 tickets so far and the second one gave me an awnser stating that they confused my order for being shipped while it wasent. however the e-mail i got also stated that it has been sent now. but there is no e-mail confirming that shipment with a tracking number etc, nor has my bioware store order page been updated. now tell if i'm getting worked up for nothing because i didnt get an automated shipment message. also if it has shipped it should say that on the bioware store order page shouldnt it?

^did you pay for tracking? or the standard shipping rate?...(no tracking with the standard/economy shipping)

sounds like you got a personal response email that its been shipped but not the normal shipping confirmation through the system. perhaps wait a bit for the website to update. if your not satisfied with updates in a few hours, send the cust. support with another inquiry- to reconfirm that your order has been shipped, since it's status hasn't changed on your order....

im sure they are paying particular attention to your order now...

i didnt pay for tracking but i would imagine getting some sort of automated shipment confirmation e-mail when its being shipped.

Got my lithos today... unfortunately it was the bad packaging. I just sent this to Jedi. I am disappointed in how this was handled.

Jedi,

I received my lithos today. But they arrived in the same packaging that everyone is complaining about. And unfortunately my lithos are now not mint. There is no clearance on all sides of the lithos, the box goes straight to the edges of the lithos. Also there is no protection or sheet of styrofoam separating the lithos from the cardboard so the front of my Illusive Man has a shimming pattern of where it was laying against the cardboard. There is also a horizontal impression that goes along both lithos from where the cardboard box was creased One last thing, one of the corners of the box was damaged so both lithos received corner damage in that spot, The Illusive Man getting the worst of it.

So after all this delay this was still packaged in the "bad packaging". I'd rather pay more for shipping on lithos if it means they are getting the coverage they need, like sandwiched between styrofoam sheets.

While I appreciate all you did for my order, I'm afraid to order anymore lithos (I wanted to get a Korlus before they ran out) because of this shipping method and will not do so in the future until it is resolved.

Thanks.

don't know if you really need to post your PM's on here. The new delivery is a mixed bag. I've heard people with heavily damaged lithos while mine came in basically perfect condition. Only problem was a very very minor crease in one corner. Other than that it was fine. It all depends on how your mail carrier treats it though

I ordered my Korlus a few days ago and it arrived today (Still waiting on my Normandy and IM). My Korlus came sandwiched between two sheets of styrofoam and a folded pieces of taped cardboard without a single mark on it. So you might have just had the bad luck of being on the tail end of the bad packaging style. Good luck.

P.S: The Korlus is quite nice. I recommend it.

aw that's disappointing,i have to agree with ilikeicehockey, it also depends on the courier. Don't worry,

they've gone back to the old/more-reliable-packaging and I'm sure you'll be reimbursed lithowise for TIM and/or other lithos. Jedi is pretty good at that, if there are any woopsies at the warehouse.

not sure if you're going to get  a IM litho. They only had ten and I think he gave them all out.

I'm pretty sure all the freebies are non-replaceable since they were not paid for.  It was a "recieve and love as is" type of thing.

You guys are missing the point. I'm disappointed because the reason they told me my lithos were delayed for two weeks was because they were going back to the old packaging to avoid damage yet I get it with the new packaging that everyone complained about.

Mine shipped today! And I got an Illusive Man litho, too! So stoked and grateful, I wasn't expecting it at all.

I opened a support ticket a couple days ago, just to make sure everything was fine with my order, since many of you (even fellow Aussies) were receiving yours already. The delays were due to the new packaging, as expected, and I was told it would be sent out "today or tomorrow", which it was. Great customer service from Bioware, as usual.

Now I'm just crossing my fingers that they both arrive safe and sound.

What a blasted waste.  Another Minuteman is up on E-Bay.

I was excited.  Almost ready to hit the buy it now since I think the last one went for $280.  Then I saw the following in the description..

"Corners have small holes from being displayed for a short time, but otherwise, the print is in excellent condition and will be shipped in a poster tube."

Corners have holes?  You tacked the blasted thing to a wall?  And still expect a floor bid of $100? *shakes head*

You read it here first, Minuteman owners, pristine copies are now +1 in rarity because this kludge defaced their own.  :pinched:

not that I would ever even consider displaying a litho in this manner but doesn't this person know you can easily place 2 tacks below the litho and 2 above it without actually puncturing the litho and it will still hold in place... I don't even puncture posters let alone a litho
