The number on the Normandy was a lot higher than I had hoped or expected given when I ordered, but what can you do?
Sell it on Ebay and buy one with a lower number?

I have a feeling most of us with the high numbers ordered first lol... The high numbers must have been on top!

I really think its random. I'm sure I was at least one of the first 100 and yet my number was 265. They might group it by shipping and start from the bottom as I'm in Canada so maybe the US orders got the higher numbers. Not sure if its too much effort for Jed, but organizing numbers according to who orders first would be greatly appreciated.

You guys are missing the point. I'm disappointed because the reason they told me my lithos were delayed for two weeks was because they were going back to the old packaging to avoid damage yet I get it with the new packaging that everyone complained about.
That's what happened with me, too. I waited ten days past my order (the 23rd) to check the status, then I had to go back and forth with those guys on a support case for a while. First, they said they were overwhelmed with orders which I can completely understand, but was told the order would be shipping that day. I waited a few days for the shipping confirmation, but never received it, and got curious so I emailed them again. The person that responded (on the 29th) said they delayed the orders to change their shipping protocols, but that they had personally confirmed that the order was on the truck. Didn't receive a confirmation until Sept. 1st and the prints still came in the old packaging. Fortunately, my Normandy was undamaged, but my Illusive Man has a pretty ugly bend in the corner. I think it should be covered up when I frame it, and I would never look a gift horse in the mouth (once again, SO grateful to get a lithograph I didn't think I'd ever own), but this entire process was really, really stressful. I really wouldn't have normally worried, but at the time, a huge hurricane was deciding whether or not to pummel us, and I was concerned about the packages arriving close enough to the projected landfall date to be left out in the rain after I had left for work one afternoon.
Anyway, it's all worth it in the end. I was fortunate enough to not have noticeable damage that required an exchange, which left me with two new, beautiful lithographs ready to go on display, and no hurricane to speak of. I just think this all could have been a lot easier. Maybe things will be better prepared and processed next time. After all, we learn from our mistakes!

It can't be entirely random, I ordered 2 Normandys and got #148 & #149.

I'm sure when the artist is signing and numbering them that he/she is doing so in order. Whether they place it face down when stacking them or face up would determine whether the high or low numbers would be pulled first when shipping. Anyone who orders more than one of any litho in a single order will always get numbers that one apart from each other. I don't think anyone here on this forum has ever experienced anything different.

1) Replacement Normandy Lithographs will start to go out today. Please make sure you've provide all of the information requested.
2) As far as numbering goes most of the time the artist sign these in batches. 20-100 at a time. When get repacked to ship they don't always end up in order. We've asked our warehouse when possible to pull from the lowest to the highest. Doesn't always happen.

Number 188/400. I have to say, they really do look much better in person.

Yeah... v_v I was hoping no one would see it and I could snatch it up at a reasonable price. No such luck though. And no, I didn't win it. =/
You, me and probably a few others. Kind of unusual to see a one day sale, though it was a nice change of pace, instead of the normal flurry of opening bidding, 5-6 days of sharks circling, ending with a flurry of bidding in the final seconds pattern these have usually fallen into. Guess the seller needed some fast cash.
Though I did win it. I'm happy, too bad my checking account is weeping. I hate breaking my price ceiling but these things don't come up often at all. At least I might not have to buy another frame. At least thats how I'm going to have to explain this to the Mrs.
